I TOTALLY forgot about that thing! Goku taking a whole week charging his goddamn kamehameha, that was effing crazy. And the fights that would last a month, oh god.

I've been thinking about rewatching Saint Seiya or Captain Tsubasa, since my friend has been posting so many videos of it on fb.

I saw DB this morning. And of course it was in japanese. It was pretty cool. Vegeta look as hot as I can remember. I completely forgot he had a widow's peak too. At least I'm not alone

Oh yeah, and I still watch Panty & Stocking every week but the show's really plummeted IMO. The first eps were the best and I think it peaked when the demon sisters were first introduced. I mean this last episode had them sitting around most of the time. I won't even address those "Chuck to the Future" bits we got the prev week. BLEH.

I watched the first ep of Gurren Lagaan and found it very meh. Kinda annoyed Netflix doesn't stream GTO since last I checked, they were missing a couple of discs.

Though I wasn't blown away by it like some were, I second giving it a little time. I thought the first episode was a good start, but like almost every other TV show, it takes a couple to get the feel of it.

Most shows I've liked do not take long to grab me. Not that it never happens because it does, but when I'm meh in the first episode, it usually proceeds to a decline. In GL's case, it was enough to me to give it another chance sometime but it's gonna be a day I'm bored with nothing else to watch, which still bumps it above Firefly.

I've been watching Fruits Basket, which I had already seen a great deal of already. That show starts out great but just gets weirder and weirder and insanely Mary Sue-ish. Helped none by the fact that the main chick ends up with the abusive a-hole. BUT I GESSS SHE CAN CHANG HEM WID LUV!!!11fewg Come on, I can watch Jerry Springer for that kinda crazy shit.

So I just finished Darker than Black. Apparently there is an OVA and a second season as well, but I finished what was on Netflix.

I really, really liked it. I haven't liked an anime that much in awhile. I don't like it as much as GitS:SAC, but it is really quite good.

The last episode was a little bit WTF, but still awesome because it tied up an earlier story in a neat way, only the viewer did not actually need that to happen for that particular story.
