a cage?? no, an aquarium! i wanted to buy a hamster to put it in there buy a rat sounds nicer....my ex gave me this aquarium like last christmas, he gave it to me with an iguana, the iguana is not there anymore, so yeah

Please don't get a rat, then. Believe it or not, it's cheaper and less work to just buy two and put them in a $30 cage using shredded paper for bedding and a rat food mix than it is to shove one in an aquarium. If you want something to shove in a glass box and ignore, get some small schooling fish. They're cute, and you only have to feed them once or twice a day.

my aquarium is big....ehmm how much is 10 gallons? like in feet/centimeters?

A ten-gallon is about 12" tall, 18" wide and 12" deep. Way too small to keep anything but mice, gerbils, reptiles and amphibians in. You should get a hamster. It'd serve you right.

Hamster bites don't hurt, they're cute.

So are little kitty bites. My mom's friend's kitten was biting my hand and I was like "Aaaw, how cute. It's trying to maim me!"

I used to have a guinea pig. He pooped a lot and I named him Buster.

I remember when my sister drove her hamster to suicide. It decide to undertake a venture to break his neck in a very complicated way rather then stay another day in her care. Can't say I blamed the little critter.
