With as long as they're taking, it's like they're waiting for him to die.

The Wolverine movie is pretty much a given.  Please, no Storm movie - I don't know how they could backtrack from Halle's Storm in da Hizzy portrayal to the elegant goddess.  And a Mags movie would either be 90% flashbacks with another actor or a lot of digital facelifting.

There were plenty of feasable plots from the comics, but the scriptwriters have dicked with random characters so much that they would have to get a major rehaul as well.  Anything with Jean would have to be a backstory, Robert Kelly became a jellyfish, Henry Peter Gyrich was shredded - I thought the first part of the Dark Phoenix saga with the Hellfire Club or something with the Sentinels and Project Wideawake might have made an interesting film transition, but that would actually necessitate some plot along with the explosions.

How about the Days of Future Past storyline? They could milk the shit out of the universal tolerance angle.  :P

Well the magneto story would be all flash back apparently.  Xavier and Magneto are supposed to be played by actors in their 20s.

I meant for Magneto, not gay-as-a-jaybird McKellen.  Hmmmm...

My thoughts on Spiderman:

1. Go go Emo Peter! Now he can start his own emo band!

2. This thing REALLY needed to be 2 movies.

3. after all that shit the Sandman went through to save his daughter, we never see what happens to her. You would think maybe spidey can take some of Harry's fortune and give it to her or something.

4. What the hell was that thing Sandman fell into when he was transformed? there's no explination why they'd have a pit of sand with some glowing blender rods of doom spinning around.

5. Thanks Harry's butler... that info about how Norman really died might have been more helpful like... 2 movies ago? Before Harry tried to kill his best friend?

6. It's official. All three movies have the "love interest kidnapped by evil villans and used as hostage, save the actress, save the planet" bullshit. You would think by now MaryJane would be packing heat or something.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

We declined movies over the weekend in favor of Spamalot.   Actually, we declined a lot over the weekend in favor of Spamalot since tickets for both of us were over $150 but well worth it!  :D
