People around here eat rabbits. I couldn't do it, though, since they're one of the few woodland creatures I like (yes, even squirrels). Besides, they tell me rabbit is stringier than hell.

But concerning marshmallows exploding in a microwave...that's my preferred means of making Rice Krispie treats. Lots easier and quicker than the old stovetop method.

I haven't tasted it, but a woman once told me deer tasted gamey. She and her husband would go hunting and kill their own. Way to go. Not only did you needlessly kill something, it didn't even taste good.

The only thing I would NEVER eat is a baby animal(ie: veal)
I actually found out like 5-7 months ago that veals are baby cows. and next day i saw that episode in south park where i dont remember which one of the kids found out the same thing and he went on to try to save them all!

Here's an easy way to tell: have you ever eaten fried cubed steak? If you compare the taste of cubed steak and similarly prepared deer tenderloins, the only discernable difference you will be able to tell is the afore-mentioned "gamey" taste. Deer make for pretty good meat, by and large.

And what's the difference between eating an animal and a baby animal? The latter tends to be more tender. BTW, "baby cows" are generally called calves.

Like Parcheesi! Or "(used of the smell of meat) smelling spoiled or tainted". Whichever you prefer. Dude, I love cubed steak. You've never had chicken fried steak? Cubed steak's used a lot for that. Or steak fingers. I don't care what it is, bread it and fry it.
