I believe it was in the thread about Pat Morita's passing. (I tried to find it, but no luck.) I think you said something along the lines of "Who is next? Mako!" and you were right.

I remember that and I can't find it either. Maybe it got eaten by the post monster. It also could've been pruned out this one time where I was snipping short threads. I recall feeling a little guilty about typing that out after I did it and may have even edited it out because I was afraid of jinxing Mako.

That being said, I'd like to predict the next Asian to go: Tsai Chin, known for such roles as Madame Lu ("The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer"), Grandma Wu ("Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior"), Chairman Xu ("Red Corner") and Madame Wu (in the upcoming "Casino Royale"). If she croaks in the next eight months, then I shall devote more time to understanding my dark powers, sometimes with hilarious results.

Totally missed this the first time through. Is Madame Wu going to be a large part? Because I don't remember there being a character of that name in the book. Not that I'd be surprised of they changed a lot. I mean they changed almost everything in movies like Moonraker, The Spy Who Loves Me, The Man with the Golden Gun, For Your Eyes Only, and Octopussy. (The short story Octopussy has Bond in a more of a cameo apperance, and While the movie The Living Daylights is almost completely made up...the first half hour is pretty much the short story it is based on, so I let it slide.) And I have to admit that Royale wouldn't make a very exciting movie, but I was really hoping for a Bond reboot where they would be told in their proper order and more true to the novels. I figured it was the only way I was going to get a decent remake of Moonraker (Favorite Bond book, least fav. Bond film.)
