No. My issue with Escaflowne has always been that almost all the character have large noses, including the lesbian cat girls. Since Merle is like 13 she doesn't have a monstrous shnaus and therefore she is the only one on the show I find at all fuckable.

Ha, seen Oban Star Racers? Complete opposite problem. Cute show, but how do they breathe when they close their mouths?

As for Escaflowne, I had a huge problem (heh, no pun intended) with the gigantic schnozes, but when I gave it chance and saw one episode, the story sucked me in and I got over it. I really wish it had gotten to air on US tv properly.

Which is why I bought the Perfect Collection. I highly recommend it, BTW, if you don't already have it. Escaflowne is in my top ten of favorite anime series.

I own the entire thing on subtitled VHS. Old and crude with immovable lettering, but I can't make myself rebuy a series. Maybe in the future when I make more disposable income.
