I am serious if it's the movie I'm talking about, the girl is a 14 year old picked up by a net pedophile, who takes her home, and she asks for a drink, and she slipps him a mickey. When he wakes up, she does some sick shit to him, and basically enslaves him.

Ah. Saw a trailer for that. I would have put her at about 13 in that one.  Fucked up.

and which one was Psylocke?

She was the Asian Chick with the purple Hair that hung around Callisto.

Well I saw it today and I can't believe they used Spike. Ugh! It was ok...but Wolverine did come across as a bit whiney about the whole Jean thing. I mean Cyc could have got away with those speeches, but it's just not Wolverine. And speaking of Cyc, I don't think he is dead. It may just be the fact that I love Cyclops or the fact that James Marsden's acted better in his 3 scenes then Halle Berry did in the whole movie, but I just don't think he died. First off something really strange was going on when he kissed Jean, you don't see him die, (There is the old movie rule, if you don't see them die they aren’t dead) and third Jean was passed out when they found her which mean something happened between her kissing Cyc, and when Storm and Wolverine found her. Also there is the fact that she didn't kill any good guys unless they attacked her.... Showing that the Jean part of her was dominate unless provoked. I wouldn't be surprised if Jean knew the Phoenix had been set free and basically put Cyc someplace safe so she wouldn't have to fight and maybe kill him. At least that makes sense from my standpoint, but it may be wishful thinking.I'm also glad Rouge seems to be out of the way now. While really important to the plot of X-Men she really seemed like dead weight in 2 and 3.

I agree completely about Cyc. They coulda showed him die, since they showed everyone else.

And I don't think that was 'psylocke' psylocke, but it coulda been just some random mutant chick with purple hair.

I'm surprised that this offended people more than movie Psylocke's powet of invisibility, or her death.
That does it, I'm not seeing that movie ....unless I somehow get to see it for free after it leaves theaters.  But yeah!

The movie is "Hard Candy" I believe.  I think the plot was that the girl's friend was molested or raped or something like that, so she lured out the guy who did it to extract a little vilgilante justice.  But I think it's also possible that the guy didn't even do anything to her friend.  I haven't seen it mind you, so I'm not certain.

I can forgive just about anything wrong with this installment due to the flawless spot-on interpretation of Hank McCoy.   And I'm talking about X-Men/X-Factor Beast - I have no idea who that clod impersonating him in the Avengers was.  <_<  I cringed when I heard Kelsey Grammer was going to play him and I'm delighted to admit I was wrong.

Quick!  Which two comic mutants was movie Calisto a combination of?   :P

Shit....I should know this.

And yeah, Beast was pretty spot on. I was actually happy about Grammer being beast, but then I was always a big Cheers/Frasier fan.

Rama for one!

Hint:  the other one is a girl, and the powet in question was not her main one, but it's what she was used for.

My first guess until Mags asked her to track Mystique.  Caliban could detect & track, but I can't remember or find mention of his locating a specific one he had never met.

It's pretty esoteric and from the highly-confusing Days of Future Past AU - Rachel Summers AKA Future Phoenix, who was used as a mutant hound and could zero in on particular ones due to her psionic levels.

Of course, it could be both.  No matter how you slice it, we still have "disposable custom mutie for plot device" and comic Callisto was present in name only.  I can't get all AR about the comic/movie clashes and stay sane, but Storm was a much better fighter than portrayed against Callisto.  I seem to remember a little issue of Morlock leadership, which I thought might be a backstory when they implied a beef existed between them in the movie pre-buzz.   Then again, instead of our lovely goddess, we have Homegirl Ororo.  I was waiting for her to put her hands on her hips, snap her fingers at Logan and say "nigga please" more than once.

As long as they stay consistent within the movie storyline, I'll be content.  I'm just glad they didn't make Hank a teenager like they did Bobby & Cyc.  <_<

Why the fuck are you people discussing mutant's powers? LOSERRSSS
You should be discussing who's the hottest one there!( and of course it's Cyclops. Although the ice man looks like this guy I used to hook up with only cause he looked like friggin' Orlando Bloom)

Probably because I don't wear my cock outside my clothes and let it think for me.  Not everything is a matter of screwing or getting screwed by something, sad as the case may be.  Although I'd like to hit Rebecca Romaijin (sp?WTF) so hard her ass would be welded to the wall.

Then again, I never read the X-books, so the movies are about my only experience with the franchise.  Which is why I don't care how much they butcher it.

Now, when Superman comes out, I'll go the night it debuts (June 30th, BTW...they moved it up), since I've been a Superman fan since I was 3.  Then you can watch some anal comic bitching on my part.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Hugh Jackman's pretty easy on my eyes.  I'll even run the risk of furrie accusations and say Hank was pretty darned cute because I'm so relieved that they didn't use the mofo sumbitch Cat Dude incarnation. That still pisses me off - like we don't have enough cat people in comics.   <_<  It's the best Kelsey Grammer has ever looked.

I take it that you already know Lois is a single mom with an annoyingly precocious kid then?  And chell your schedule - this morning I heard they moved it up again to June 28.

Finishing the thought after a convoluted phone call - no insult to Halle or Rebecca fans, but I found it a pretty libido-free movie because I don't care for any of the women.  I wish Iman could have been Storm.

I am kinda disapointed overall with how Cyclops has been portrayed in the movies. He never led anything other than the Statue of Liberty, and the rest of the movies he was there more as Wolverine's foil for Jean's love than anything. I can only imagine what the Wolverine movie is going to be like, since we basically had three already.

Yeah me either....I'm still hoping for an X4 and the return of Cyc where he'll really gets to shine. But I heard that the reason they killed Cyc off was because he went with Synger to Superman: Returns. That puts some doubts on my theroy about him coming back.

The 4-part Wolverine series was interesting, but then he'll be all weepey over Mariko.  Do his past with Sabretooth & he's morose over Silver Fox.  Do his wild man in the Canadian woods storyline, and he's got a mope-on for Heather.  Guy's just a damn mess when it comes to women.

That'd be hard to push into one movie though....but of course you could do ala Highlander with flashbacks and I'd love to see Sabertooth and Wolverine go at it again.
