Not sharing your sexual history is fine as long as the other person knows you're not letting them no everything. Flat out lying about it is just wrong. A person may be happier in living in ignorance but it's always better to be honest about something like that. Tell someone the truth about something they don't want to here and they usually won't just say "I wish you'd lied to me about that" no matter how upsetting it may be Try thinking of the opposite situation where you're being lied to.

Very intense, creepy movie, but Glenn Close is so damn good in whatever she does anyway, esp. doing my absolute dream role in Dangerous Liaisons.
