Besides the show my pic came from, which most of you have seen... I'd recommend....
Elfen Lied
A teenage boy and his female cousin find a naked girl at the beach with long red hair and horns on her head that look like cat ears. She had just escaped from a secret lab. So they take her home. It seems she suffers from mutiple personality. During the day she has a 'chii' personality: she knows dick about real life like she was born yesterday, and the only word she says is "Nyo". During the night, she's a homocidal maniac named Lucy, with telekenetic powers and a fetish of turning people into sliced ham.
This is the bloodiest, goriest thing I've seen this year, and it's worth it just for the massive amount of blood spraying around like a bad hong-kong flick. There's also quite a bit of "chobits"-style fanservice. Retard girl gets in compromising situation with boy, another girl walks in and kicks his ass. Also, the female cousin seems to be a typical emo japanese schoolgirl and whines or cries a lot or takes her anger out on her male cousin. She also has a crush on him and wants him to fondle her boobs and shit.
The anime cliches bug the hell out of me, but the excessive violence makes up for it. For an example of how bloody it can get, there's a scene in the beginning with one of those ditzy clutzy females, she falls over and finds herself between Lucy and a bunch of guards. So what does Lucy do? She lops the girl's head off and uses her body for a shield to block the bullets while she dismembers the guard's bodies. Flawless Victory!
