I don't know. I seem to remember a board looking different than this. Being red and yellow maybe. I probably thought this was different because it uses a default skin.

It did but the skin I had customized didn't mesh with the SMF updates that run the board.  The skin with all of the images and coloring I used before is out of date and I haven't bothered finding a new one.

Not yet.  I've been coughing but I think I'm getting sensitive to all of the gross chemicals being sprayed to sanitize and what not. I don't cough at home at all, it's all at work or when I go to the store for groceries.

Been avoiding my favorite Chinese place. Not because it's Chinese but they seem way too lax about everything. They don't have a drive thru or anything although they claimed to do curbside and then still made me go inside to get my food. I last went back in April or so and they just let people go in without any distancing. Fuck that. I ain't gettin' 'rona'ed for some sweet sesame chicken. They forgot my wonton strips (that I paid for) and then gave me shit about it when I called. Those things are dirt cheap and all I asked is that they throw them in on my next order and it was this giant headache where they put me on hold for ten minutes. I seriously used to spend upwards to fifty bucks a month at that place because I used to hardly buy restaurant food at the time so it was my treat to myself every three weeks or so. Not that it makes me a big spender or anything, but my last interaction with them really pissed me off. It honestly just makes it more convenient if I just take my business elsewhere.

So anyway... this was about Chinese food or something, right?

I remember maybe once a month to come take a look. Sometimes it's once a quarter. Oh well. You'd think with all the extra time right now (working from home, pandemic lockdown stuff, etc), that I'd have remembered sooner.

It seems like in theory everyone should have extra time but I think the pandemic is finding other ways of taking time away. Merla and I can't stay caught up on our work without doing overtime. We work and work and are so exhausted. I imagine it's the same for everyone who still has a job during the pandemic. You spend time with loved ones, eat, crash, and repeat. If I could go to work today (even though I was just in the ER yesterday and need rest), I'd be there now but they said no one can come in on Thanksgiving. So I'll work tomorrow and then do overtime on Saturday. Adulting is tiresome.

I'm going back tomorrow myself. I probably should work Saturday since it's end of month and we still have a ton of stuff to do for November (and October come to think of it). But they could have had someone come in during that time I was out, and they didn't. So screw that crap.

As for how I keep up with stuff, I use RSS. Whenever someone posts here I see it when I log into my home computer. Now that Vivaldi is about to implement a mail and feed reader directly into the browser I will know on my phone as well. Soon there'll be no way anyone can post here and I won't know within minutes! MUAH, HA-HAH!
