I had a friend once that was a member of P.E.T.A. (the "etihical" one, not the funny one). Needless to say, I broke up our friendship by ordering the biggest, bloodiest steak they could legally serve and eating the whole thing infront of him. Good times.

Exactly. Which will do what other than make the majority of people more pissed off? I don't give a shit what people think of me for not eating meat. I do it for me, not them. If they ask, I'm happy to answer any questions, but I'm not on the lecture circuit. I sit at many a table with bloody steaks and burgers and chicken and if it's not on my plate, it's none of my business.

Frankly, I was tired of Ben busting into people's conversations, handing out pamphlets and getting looked at while I ate. He was one of those "over-night" vegans who was originally just a normal person and then deceided to take up a personal crusade for animals.

Turned out pretty good. I had to add some Texas Pete and cayenne pepper to make it acceptable for myself, but everyone else liked it.
