I don't use the library. The public library computers always have an enormous queue and the school library computers are specifically for academic use. If I came here from one of those, Merla would have to throw me out. It would be her sacred duty.

If you hit ours on a weekday during school hours, there isn't too much of a wait. I can usually get on right away, but pretty much after 4 you arn't getting on, period. Same with Sat.

That's probably true, but I have no need to go to the public library when I can use the university's computer lab as long as I want.

I used the one at school when I could. It was free, and it was about 100 times faster then mine.

Yeah, I use the ones at school to play music on MySpace and watch online videos. YouTube at least will play on my home computer as long as I give it a quarter-century to load. That's still far better than what anyone else does for me.

I heard that. I tried to download like a few episodes of the GI.Joe toon awhile back and it told me it'd take 48-52 hours per 30 min episode to download. First thing I'm going to do with my book money, is move into the city and get a blidning fast connection.

Merla wants to get DSL but they say they can't do it, which is likely in actuality "won't" since this a poorer part of town and they're probably just being bitches.

More then likely. They won't let us have it either cause we live in the rural area between cites. And the tourists buying up houses for "Summer homes" has made it nearly impossible to afford a house inside the city. So you are kinda screwed, I'm sure it's the same there. You live in a poor area and not many people would pay for it there and so they just don't offer it to you.
