Judging from how simplistic the listing for insurance underwriter is, I'm wondering about the intangibles the description doesn't mention.  If my job was that cut and dried, I could leave at noon every day.  :(

You know what does a financial advisor does?

From careerplanner.com:

Advise clients on financial plans utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate. Duties include assessing clients' assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to establish investment strategies.

This is just the brief description.  You might want to review the whole page.

50+ hours a week
In otherwords who hold their dick and tell them how to piss.
I can kill a small child with only a lick.

I've had so many web design classes my head hurts. That anime website was before them. Sure I don't have a portfolio but I'm working on that. Even if I crank out a pointless website for myself that has 3 pages if it looks pretty hopefully it's all good.
Not trying to be rude here but....

What the fuck are you new to Internet? Every jerk off an his mom has a site. Fucking 12 year old bitches are making sweet designed websites for dumb ass shit like Black Eye Peas fan listing sites and you can't trouble yourself to make something up?  Don't bitch about not having experience and fucking get some. Make a site about any dumb shit you can think of, not matter how retarded the topic. Make it pretty. Make it what you want to make for other people. Then when you apply for a job you have something to show them.

For every guy out there with a background in web design education without even a single site to back it up there are a thousand people who learned that shit on their own with a better chance of getting the job.

You're in one of the few feilds where you have the oppurtunity to create your own experience without having to work to get it and all you can do is bitch about it like a fucking little bitch. Get off your ass.
Yes, but every jerkoff and his mom's site is usually some shitty geocities crap. Making a website is easy. making a professional looking one is more difficult. I have no website, and I don't know why I would want one. Why would I? as you guys show, no one's going to care about my life and hobbies. I'm still trying to get someone who wants me to redo their site for free so I can practice and have that experience.

But, since no one reads, when I complain about jobs wanting experience, I'm talking about ones you wouldn't expect to have experience for, like auto parts, or resturants, or customer service/tech support, or quicklube oil change, or warehouse, where you wouldn't expect them to want experience but every job around here wants you to have some.

It may be moot, I think the local Dominos may give me a job. Unless they expect me to have experience driving to someone's house and giving them a fucking pizza.

Your insult is very 2000.   The Internet today is not mostly filled with shitty geocities sites. Not unless you go looking for them at least. There's an astronomical amount of quality site out there at least from a design point of view, which is exactly what you're talking about.  So you don't want to make a site and literally millions of people can and have made professional looking webpages. So why would anyone want to hire your ass when you have nothing to show for it?  Do you think someone would apply to some artist's job at a comic book company or something without a portfolio?

"Can I see samples of your work"
"I was never really inspired to draw anything but I assure you I'm talented"
"But you've never drawn anything how do you know you're good?"
"I took a few courses. If you pay me I'll draw something good for you."
"Thanks but I'll hire my 12 year old cousin."

I can't believe you don't have samples of your work.  Well actually yes I can.  Empolyer want to see results, you expect them to take your word for it.  Also a lot of companies now a days do not even have to hire web designers because they have people on staff (hired for some other purpose) that can do the job.
