Eddie wound up on the guest room futon Monday night when the storms came through and the two pit bull puppies (almost 30 lbs each) got scared & wanted in the bed.  :P  This is in addition to a rat terrier and two cats.

Good for you, stop those couches before they cross the border. Filthy beggars.

And the few times I've slept on Futon I've regreted it in the morning.
Imagine reliving that fun every night!  I could've bought a bed, but my room's small so I wanted to make the most of the space.  Besides, I sleep too much as it is.  A comfortable bed would only make matters worse.

I like my futon.  I bet you could light a city block if you put it under a black light at night.

My living room couch is a futon.  I've slept on it and it's comfortable.  When 2 people are "lying' on top of each other on one end of it it has a tendency to tip which is... inconvenient.

I actually ended up getting the Monarch of all beds, the King size because all my animals wanted to sleep with me. The full size just wasn't cutting it and so I traded away my PS2 and all the PS2 games I had for this bed. And even with a bed I could sleep head to toe or sides to side comfortably on the animals find a way to make it uncomfortable.

That's ok.... I gave away my futon a few years ago and I don't miss it. It was falling apart anyway from being moved from place to place so many times. I think I moved 3 times in the span of 2 years when I owned that thing.

And my Bedroom use to be too small too. I had the full in there and there was about a 3-foot wide path around the sides and foot of the bed and that was all the extra room I had. But the room I currently occupy is huge and I have no space worries. I could probably fit 2 more king-sized bed in there and still have breathing room.

Damn, does it even give anymore when someone sits on it?  :P

Lucky man.  We're stuck with a full at present because we opted to take the smaller quieter back bedroom in lieu of the larger one with the windows facing the street.  The kid across the street has a 5' speaker in his trunk.   <_<

Yeah, but they always ask what that crunching noise is.

Just tell him you'll leave your curtains open on "certain" night, if he'll keep the noise down.

That must be awfully uncomfortable for both parties.

Give it three years. They'll try to repeal the gun law and we'll have another civil war.

I don't want it to be easy, I want it to be right.

I have an Enfield .303 which would go through the trunk, the speaker and probably everything for the next two blocks.  I have to think of the innocent pets.

And no curtain shows.  On a whim one slow day I looked up sex offenders for my zip code and one is registered to that address.

DOUBLE BLECH!  Well maybe he's just using that address and actually lives somewhere else like no one I know.
