I had not seen Goblet of Fire and decided to go see it at the mall's dollar theater. I was kinda late and got in line just at the posted movie start time.
That wasn't the big deal. The big deal was for some fucking crazy reason (maybe they can't afford staff when they charge $1.50 for a movie?), you had to buy tickets at the consession stand and there was only one person there running the entire damn theater.
Now think about this. It's the mall. It's a weekday afternoon. It's Harry Potter. It's $1.50 adults, and like .50 a child or something. Of course you'll have soccer moms with 4 hellspawns hanging off their arms. And of course, the fucking ticket/food line was long as fuck. Not only was I there right as the movie was starting, but I had to wait while mothers bought their kids tons of fucking food to keep the kids from whining too much!
Me? When I got up there, I bought one ticket and a box of candy. Probably no more than a minute tops, and only $3.25.
I probably didn't miss much. More of Dursley beating up Harry and his aunt and uncle filming it for their fetish site.
