Lost Finale Thread

It better be better than Heroes' finale was. That thing stunk worse than Faye on Sunday morning.

What I wanna see:

• Locke coming back with the Monster as his ally.
• Charlie not dying, but changing destiny as should be on this island.
• Penny on the boat, taking over the active search for Dessie after Naomi's disapearence.
• Let us know why the fuck the Island is doing this weird healing/killing shit.
• The camp splits up.
• Danielle playing an active role other than running away when the shit starts.

I would like to see Danielle finally meet Alex.  Of course, that's not as important as Desmond and Charlie making it through this thing alive.

Well... Charlie didn't. Which was gay, I mean come the fuck on. He coulda made his way outta that alive many ways. Running out into the pool, or squeezing through the porthole that fuckin lazarus blew open. I could tell Charlie's actor wanted off, which is gay.

Nice thing with Jack, though, from Moses to Ezekial. Nice.

Ugh, that whole "flashback" thing with Jack was retarded.  It took far more time than it should've.  I didn't see why Charlie couldn't have held his breath and then tried to squeeze through the hole.  He could've at least have had the courtesy to try and then get stuck.  Boo.  RIP Charlie.

RIP Tom.  (Sawyer shooting him in the chest like that was no way for him to die.)  RIP Naomi.  (And I had wanted to see more of her.)  RIP Misc. Others.  (They don't really matter but those two underwater chicks were sorta cool.)

Rock on, Hurley.  Anyone else would've seen the van-thing coming, but I didn't.

I didn't either. I knew something big was going to happen, but who knew he'd have run them over. Danielle and Alex was so fucking sweet, I had to chell for cavities after. I didn't feel bad for Tom, either, he kidnapped a kid (kids?) and wanted to kill Sayid and his apprentices. Questions left for the final episodes:

- Is Charlie really dead, or will they go back in time? I found it odd when he asked: "Any more flashes?" And Desmond said "...no." Either he was covering and knew it was Charlie's time to die, or something happened.
- Who was Naomi working for, and why does Ben seem like a future good guy now? Was Naomi working for Penny's dad?
- Why was the plane somewhere else with the people confirmed dead? Is it related to Naomi's boat?

...and many many others.

I figured Naomi's Dharma or connected to the hostiles somehow (looking for them, wanting to study them, etc.) and she was lying about the whole "plane being found" thing.  I don't recall Penny giving any indication that she thought Charlie being from that particular Oceanic flight was impossible.  Charlie has a chance to live if they write in someone being at or in the vicinity of the Looking Glass, fetching the body, and reviving him.  Otherwise, he'll just be flashbacks or a ghost.

I just realized what you meant by going back in time.  Desmond or someone could end up somehow living the day all over again and do it differently so Charlie lives.  Possibilities, possibilities.

Especially with Desmond being all wierd, Walt being wierd, and the Flash Forwards and Jack saying they gotta go back.

Your misspell of "weird" as "wierd" reminds me of elementary school because I had a teacher that would kinda pick on us about that.  She wasn't mean about it or anything.  Everytime one of us wrote it that way, she would read it as "wired" on purpose.  After her, I never misspelled that word again, even after 20-plus years.

Do you have any idea if the hobbit wanted to leave the show?  Or was he just Boone'd?

From what I've seen on the internets (which may or may not be true) the producers wanted him gone because he wasn't interesting. He'll still be there since he's nailing Kate and they bought a giant house there together, so I doubt it's him not wanting to do it.

He was waaaay more interesting than Jack.  Hell, he's more interesting than Jin, Claire, and a bunch of them.  His chick should get them to Jesusfy him.  Oops Locke, looks like the smoke monster didn't choose you after all.  And then it comes charging in to the tune of "We ARE everybody!  We ARRREEE everybody!"
