I've never seen that movie.... in it's entirety anyway. I've always done that, though. We used to use the can opener noise with our old cats. Or the microwave. Sparky and Toki get their food out of those pop-top type cans though so neither of those work on them.

In the movie, Dr Evil grabs the bag with the food and shakes it around singing "I want chicken, I want liver, meow mix meow mix please deliver". For some reason i thought that was hilarious
