My mom's was Baldwin.

Quote
BALDWIN   m
Usage: English
Pronounced: BAWLD-win
Derived from the Germanic elements bald "bold, brave" and wine "friend". This was the name of one of the leaders of the First Crusade, a nobleman from Flanders. After the crusaders conquered Jerusalem, he was crowned as the king of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

I can't find one for Mota or Oelschlager.  :(

i think oelschlager might be the americanization of the name...like, it might've been spelled differently in germany.  with all those weird accents and such

I have no holy idea where Mota comes from.  In the vein of altered names, I remember being told my last name may come from Le'Strade or something like that.  Don't quote me on that though, it's just something I remember was suggested.
