Bernie, too.

Grand Prairie Police say they have arrested the man who raped an elderly woman and set her on fire Monday.
Grand Prairie Detective John Brimmer says officers from Grand Prairie and Fort Worth arrested Daniel Deshawn Neal Tuesday night.
Brimmer says on Tuesday a Grand Prairie Fire Department arson investigator saw a man who appeared to be going door-to-door in the same neighborhood where the woman was attacked.
The rape victim told police the man who attacked her Monday might have been selling magazines door-to-door.
The arson investigator called police, who caught up to the man and questioned him. He told police enough information about the suspect to enable officers to get an arrest warrant.
The man also told police that the group of magazine sellers would be working in Fort Worth on Tuesday.
That day, police from the two departments set up a surveillance team at the Fort Worth location where the group of magazine sellers was to meet.
The officers identified the suspect and arrested him after a brief struggle, Brimmer said.
DNA samples will be taken from Neal and compared with evidence from the sexual assault exam. Brimmer says if the DNA matches, police will charge Neal with first degree aggravated sexual assault.

Sounds like he tried to take her with him.
-
And I live in Dallas, if anyone I should have heard about it.
-
More Texans?! I had no idea, well shame on you for not.
-
Maybe she just suffered a case of internal combustion
-
I think you Spontaneous Human Combustion. Internal Combustion is like an engine.
-
Or (ignoring the missing word), it's something that occurs after an all-you-can-eat chili cookoff.
-

That might just be the solution to the energy crisis!
-
No, it won't. It's just smelly.
-
No, no, we just blow up criminals and use that energy, right?
-
That would only work if it took less energy to explode the criminals then they gave off while exploding. If not, it's just not cost effective.
-
I don't pay much heed to news, so no, I never heard of this.
-
It's vile, I thought someone would've said something.
-
It's vile but as you pointed out in that other thread with that hate crime (the one where those black guys killed a white guy and his gf) a lot of vile crimes can get glossed over. I had never heard of what happened to that baby in the MySpace thread either and that was extremely vicious.
-
Yet they harp over Tiger banging whores.
-
Tiger is famous...and thus more important.
-
Also, I think I've been on his board longer or at least as long as Derrick, so why didn't he know I was in Texas?
-
I don't know. Who else resides in Texas? You you all meet up for lunch biweekly or sumthin?
-
I'm in Dallas, someone's in Houston, and someone's in San Antonio? So, no, we do not meet up for lunch.
-
You'll have to excuse him. He lives in a small state. He doesn't understand.
-
I lived in Flo-rida. I'm used to driving for hours and seeing nothing but grass and cows.
-
Still...once you get west of the Mississippi Florida isn't really that big.
-
8 hours from Miami to Jacksonville isn't big?
-
Not compared to Texas. Besides it's long and thin. Going by actual size it's not. You can't just count length! You have to count girth too!
-
Ha just looked it up...Florida is even smaller then my home state of Missouri. But Texas has it beat by almost 200,000 square miles (FL: 65,755 sq ml TX: 268,581 sq ml)
-

GIRTH!? GIRTH!?
Wow, I thought florida was bigger. Eitherway, it's a cock. A smelly cock. It's long as shit and the middle is filled with awfulness.
-
It is a big dick pissing on Cuba.
And at least Alaska has Texas beat, but we don't talk about that too much. The Texans get all uppity when you suggest something might be bigger then Texas.
-
There's a reason nobody cares that Alaska is bigger than Texas. Because nobody cares.
-

Cows??? That's like the least expected animal I'd think you'd see in Fl! more like flamingos or manatees or some shiet

Too much snow.

Yet the beef availible in the state was largely inedible. Miami is loaded with roads named after dairies.
-
LOL at seeing Manatees as you're DRIVING
-
bitch they can jump out of the water!
-
You can run over them with their boat.
-
their boat?
-
Manatees can own boats too! As long as their credit is good.
-
u guys high?
-
Off course they can own boats, they just can't use them in the water, only on land.
-
Hope they don't run into any land sharks while out.
"We're going to need a bigger Land Boat."
-
Rama, if I wasn't at work, I might have laughed, out loud even.
-
When you type lol, you're not actually reflecting a laugh out loud? Bastard.
-
Its come to mean something other than what it means.
-
Maybe to you.
-
Maybe to 90% of the internet.
-
Well 90% of people are useless to me.
-
When you type lol, you're not actually reflecting a laugh out loud? Bastard.
Fuck I hate when people do that. Especially when they are in front of me, like in a computer next to me and I send tehm a link to something funny and they type "LMAO!" and I look at them and they are serious.
-
This thread made me lol.
I don't remember how long it takes to get to OK or even to Austin, Dallas or Houston since it's been a while. I do know it takes me a little over an hour to visit my dad. His town's too small for the map, but New Braunfels is a good proximity. I have never left through the Panhandle. It's for losers as far as I'm concerned. Nor have I crossed through the Pan... er, pointy thing where El Paso is.
-
Also, seeing bodies of water like fucking oceans and shit on Google Maps freaks me the fuck out. It always feels like I'm in danger of falling in.

According to King of the Hill last night, it takes 6 hours to go to Witicha Falls from Arlen.
-
Using Garland (which is in Dallas county) that doesn't look so far off. Which leaves me with the ques, why does it take 8 hrs to traverse Florida? Is it the speed limits?
-
Traffic, Miami and Jacksonville both add at least an hour each to the trip.
-
Man, that sounds maddening. The last time I passed through Austin the traffic was a bitch so I just slept through. Dallas was easier to go through, but that might've been due to the time of day. Otherwise, it's smooth sailing on the way up.
-
Miami is awful because there's always an accident on a major road, which causes the minor roads more traffic. Me and Kary encountered a massive roadwork traffic jam @ 1am. I just wanted to go home and I had to sit out in the middle of no where stopping and going so they could cut into the pavement.
-
I've been to the Pan Handle. Lubbock to be exact. It wasn't anything to write home about. Been to Dallas twice too. Never been into south Texas before.
And there is no way it takes 6 hours to get from Garland to Witicha Falls. I can get from here to Ames, IA in 6 hours and that is easily twice that distance.
-

It used to fucking awful to get through Dallas/Fort Worth, but its pretty smooth at all times now, especially if you go on the outside of both metroplexes, but don't go between them. You can go through both ciites pretty easily, but the middle part is confusing and has toll roads.
-
i pity you all for using cars.
trains FTW
-
San Antonio I believe is the largest city without a public rail system or some kind. There is an Amtrak, but I've never taken it. Anyway, TX is not very train friendly to begin with. If you want to live and work in the majority of the state as far as doing so intercity is concerned, you need a car.
-
Obama signed 8 billion to improving train service. I would use a train more if they went to where I want to go.
-
Ditto. That'd be fun to go everywhere by trail, rail, and whatnot. I envy the more efficient transportation systems.
-
Whenever me and Kary go to Boston, we take the train. Shit has free wifi now.
-
The Amtrak SUCKS. It's always late. Ad the Acela, even though its supposed to be like the type A/first class train, its late too. But since I rather take trains than cars, I can't bitch too much about it. Although its way more money, ie: a bus ticket to go from Philly to NY cost anything from 1 buck to 10 bucks (one way), while in the Amtrak is 45 bucks and the Acela is 120. Is it worth it? Only if you get nauseous on the bus :-(
-
I love to travel by rail. Thing is, it's just as expensive as flying and takes like 3-4 times as long. And they wonder why the airlines are putting them out of business. Maybe try being a lot cheaper, since you can't be faster.
-
I've traveled intercity using buses before and they don't make me sick. Still highly inefficient, but one time when I was on one late at night, I had room to curl up and sleep on the seat.
-
A train crashed in Washington D.C.

True. The doc doesnt let me travel by plane anymore and we wanted to go to Miami last week (didnt know the darn superbowl was going on, no wonder why we couldnt find a room) so the last choice we had was train and it was even more expensive than airfare. fuck that. oh and it takes 22 hours to get there
-
That's what I mean. Maybe if they were, you know, cheaper then airline then someone might actually use them.
-
The funny part is that the train tickets were all sold out too.
-
That's what I mean. Maybe if they were, you know, cheaper then airline then someone might actually use them.
One time, me and Kary were going to take the train from Miami to Savanah to visit her Mom for X-mas. The train tickets were over 300 round trip. Plane, 88 dolars each round trip, and it took an hour. The train took 12.
This is why our train system is just failing. The infrastructure isn't being used properly.
-
This is especially inefficient for the train hobos.
-
Thank God Boxcar Willie didn't live to see this day.
