Ooh, I'll bet she's pissed she didn't hit 100.

Old girl's gnashing her teeth in HELL right now.

God, Facebook's so mopey right now. "Boo hoo, Betty White." You know how on YouTube vids and shit people race to be "first." It's like that but with Betty White's death. And everyone's gotta post their own reaction. "First! Betty White died!" At least on my feed.

I dunno. I just think I'm incapable of being sad for someone who lived a rich and beloved existence. And I'm annoyed when I use social media to unwind and am instead reminded of our fragile mortality... unless it's a funny story.

Besides, Betty White was cool but Rose was the worst Golden Girl. I think it'd be funny if she just let herself go. Everyone talking about her hitting 100 and she's just "lol, no" and peaced out.

I didn't dislike Betty White, but I don't get the forced infatuation with her. I always cheer for the spunky old folks even when they're buttholes because every year is an active win-streak that you don't want it to see ending out of common decency. But all the, "oh, we lost a national treasure!" mewling? I'm sure she was a wonderful person, but the decease fawning is bordering creepy at this point.

In any case, better be picking up those about-to-be collector's edition Betty White at 100 magazines while you can....
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

And there went another Pointer sister.

Merla and I spent our year end with Chinese food, LotR, and Hajime no Ippo. Granted, it might've been the perfect time to finally watch some of Rings of Power after RotK but I actually completely forgot that was a thing. Anyway, I was already tired. I worked half the day and we were watching the extended editions so it's not like I would've been paying attention. Especially with all of the fireworks being popped around us.
