That actually reminds me... Like, now, it's a holiday for us over here: Battle of Flowers. Schools are closed and there's a big-ass parade. And I just randomly asked today "like, what the fuck are we celebrating anyway? Like, it's cool I always got this Friday off for school but why?" And nobody knew. So I googled it. We're celebrating the heroes of the Alamo. Um, okay, but WHICH heroes? Am I supposed to celebrate the whitey ones a.k.a. the Manifest Destiny idiots that weren't supposed to be here in the first place and got slaughtered? Or do I celebrate the Mexican ones a.k.a. the other losers that ended up losing the territory even after obtaining a victory? I guess it doesn't matter as long as half the city has another excuse to get wasted but I'm still curious.

We have a long weekend over here, Monday because of Labor Day and Tuesday is "Reunification" day. (end of Vietnam war). On Monday we are going to a place called Cu Chi, that is "famous" for their underground tunnels which is where the vietcong used to hide to attack muricans. I DONT WANT TO GO. ITS GOING TO BE HOT AND MUDDY AND SHIT. You can pay to shoot real firearms , cannons and stuff tho so that might be pretty cool. Also we got a private speedboat to get there so hopefully we wont be around the millions of tourists that will be there too.
