Seems like everyone likes Owls these days. Run into that stuff all over the place and I always think "I wonder if Merla knows about these." then I don't tell her....
Yeah, owls are a thing lately. I see them everywhere now. Especially at Target. I even find myself buying owl stuff because they remind me of Merla. At my mom's job, she saw a parent who had owl shit for her kid. And my mom was all "oh, how cute, my daughter loves owls and she'd like that" and the parent got all haughty "well, owls have been my daughter's theme since
before she was born blah blah". Quit tryin' to be in the cool club, you chose the owls yourself; your kid didn't, she could hate owls later. Merla chose owls herself when she was like 3 and she never deviated to anything else in all that time. She liked owls before owls were cool, like for over 30 years in the fuckin' 70's and shit where you had to be a duck in bell bottoms to be a bird that got decent work.
So yeah, Target. You can find shitloads of owls there now.
