Starting to look more and more like Day After Tomorrow, when's the ice age?

Ok, so the tidal wave wasn't from sea levels rising, but a 9.0 earthquake in the ocean off indonesia. An earthquake so strong it caused the earth's rotation to slow down and the poles to shift slightly. The wave half destroyed India, Sir Lanka, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Africa, as well as completely swollowing small islands and sucking them into the ocean. So far they've gotten 57,000 confirmed dead, but people say it might be in the millions.

hmmm no, that cant happen. even though singapore isclose to the sismic plate(or plaque, or however u say that in english) in the phillipines, it still have malaysia covering its ass...thats why they didnt get almost nada regarding the tsunamis etc.
those surfers in Cali must be happy tho, they are probably getting some good waves in a couple of weeks . too bad its because of such a big catastrophe :-/

Reports say he injured himself saving his daughter. I like how this article first notes that Jet Li played the villain in Lethal Weapon 4, and adds Hero and Romeo Must Die as afterthoughts.

I think the earth is rebelling against resource rape & overpopulation. I'm personally quite amused whenever I hear of animals getting fed up with humans encroaching on their territory and going rogue. Unfortunately, they usually end up getting killed, but not before they take out a few entitlement-minded morons first.

I'll donate in the hopes of pissing off a fundie. As of yesterday, the lead batallions of "Christian values" and self-appointed morals directors of the country like the American Family Association, the Family Research Council, the Christian Coalition, Focus on the Family, Concerned Women for America, and the Coral Ridge Ministries, all still foaming at the mouth over gay marriage, stem cell research and abortion, haven't said word one about the tsunami.

Oh, but LIFE is SACRED!!! Wish they'd just put it on the fucking table and say what they mean - Caucasian American life is sacred. Hypocritical assholes :angry:

Zero, are you a member of one of these organizations? If so, I didn't mean to insult you personally; just your compatriots' seeming lack of interest in something that seems tailor-made for groups touting how their Christian right faith allegedly governs their lives. And unless you were monitoring the Lutheran World Relief donation site, you wouldn't see me doing anything.

It's nothing to me if anyone here donates or not. Nobody here runs around monitoring anyone's morals for Jaysus or bleating about how wonderful & compassionate they are, so no hypocrisy is involved.

To label everyone in those groups as a racist, hate mongering white person is very close minded, ignorant if best. I have some family tied with the group, while I don't support it in any way I respect them. Self hating whites really piss me off.
