I don't get why it's so important to have a carbon copy of yourself. I don't neccessarily agree with the bulk of people using IVF, but if they can afford it and afford the time and money to raise the mutants spawned from it let them do what they want. These people can't afford it and are willing to put themselves in a hole so they can't even afford to raise the kid that results.
