Yes. Any other game, I could predict what an enemy is going to do. I feel like I have to 1-2 punch and roll away. If nothing else, the Vampire Cross Killer seems to cover up the enemy character model quite well so my view of the enemy is actually BLOCKED. But maybe this is just my penance for playing on hard right out of the gate. Attacks really seem to hurt!

The sync block or whatever is forgiving, yeah, but I've never been much the parrying type. Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden. Always dodged, hardly ever blocked, much less parried.

Wii's are definitely the easiest console to hack. You can load all your games to an external hard drive and never have to take the discs out again.

The only trick I've come across so far that they don't show you how to do in a tutorial is the roll jump. If you're running and you shake the remote, you'll roll, but if you jump while you're rolling, the jump carries you way farther than it normally would. It's also useful for grabbing items that are hovering over pits, that you otherwise would have no way of getting.

Hs anyone played Mario Galaxy 2? I was thinking about getting it but then I saw it came with a dvd to show you how to play. A dvd? how effing difficult can it be? That and plus its obv in japanese. NOPE.

dude i know how to read. not all kanji but some. certainly not enough to be able to read whats on the screen and understand it completely.

Silly guys, if you learn japanese you have to learn both, and kanjis too. It's a necessity. For example, today I was doing my weekly visit to Harajuku and wanted a bubble tea so I went and ordered. If I wouldnt have known katakana I wouldnt have been able to order kokonutsu.

I still have trouble with remedial Spanish. What little I know of it was learned from Sesame Street in the early eighties. But it came in handy when I had to x-ray the no hablo Ingles guy in the ER last year.

So the chances of my learning the above-mentioned hieroglyphics is nil.
