I've begun tuning to the Christmas stations when I'm in the vehicle. These last few years, I've felt like Christmas is here and then it's gone in an instant and I don't even get a chance to enjoy any of it.

This year I'm gonna wallow in that shit for two solid months.

I prefer it to start around Thanksgiving and then I continue to lean into it even after Christmas is over. As in up to two weeks after it's over. Which is jarring when the radio decides "well, that's done" and abruptly cuts off the Christmas music.

Holy shit, I was losing my goddamn mind trying to locate a specific song. Not on YouTube, not on Spotify, and I can't even find a place to fucking buy it. This is bullshit. It's Neon (Mark Reeder's Electrically Charged Radio Mix) by Queen of Hearts. I went to Discogs and it looks like it was strictly a track for a promo EP. It's been my jam for years and I initially found it for free on one of those music blogs (probably back in 2012) and just hung on to it all of these years. But it's on a device at my house and I'm not home. It's so frustrating to not be able to just search and fucking buy something. Sell it and let me fucking buy it. Someone take my fucking money.

In the end, I found an mp3 on a random Russian website.  This is Biker Mice from Mars all over again. Let me fucking buy the thing, goddammit.

At least not all of my blasts from the past are missing from Youtube. But fuck, this one's from 2007. It'll be twenty years old in a little over two years. Fuck, man.
