I read in some newspapers that some vegans are so insane about eating nothing from animals that they carry their own cooking items when they go on vacation to give to restaurants to cook their food, because they refuse to eat any vegan food that was cooked in the same pot/pan as animal products. Now that's fucking insane.

One of my room mates occasionally does this with pizza joints, they usually have no problem with it. What you state above is a bit overboard. Just eat a fucking salad.
