I watched the first two episodes of Black Sails.
I really want to like this series (because pirates are up there with robots and ninjas on the cool list) and they've obviously thrown some money at it, but I just can't get into it.
First off everyone looks way to polished and pretty to be pirates, which may be to compensate for the total lack of character depth. I find myself not caring at all what happens to any of these characters.

I got a few more downloaded eps on my drive, so I may give it another shot.
Then again, maybe not

I started watching Arrow again. I kind of got tired of the hackneyed & hokey dramatic bits a while back, but with Slade coming back into the picture it seems things are amping up.

Watched first season of Arrow. It's not horrible. I like that Lawton and Slade and Huntress are in it, but that feels cheap. I connect too many of these characters to Batman, so in a way this just feels like cheap Batman who's willing to kill people. I'm torn on whether I really like this show or not.

I knew about Flash and I'm not surprised by Suicide Squad. The Suicide Squad as a whole was never just a Batman opponent, so I'm cool with that. Flash is cool, too, but GL is supposed to be GA's best bro. Come on!

But Ra's and Nyssa? Seriously?

I actually kind of thought the white haired chick in the first season might be attached to the League of Assassins somehow. Also possibly the dad and daughter pair from the flashbacks.

Sons of Anarchy season 7 premiere was extreme disappoint. So much fuckin' exposition. People aren't tuning into a show about one percenters just to have the characters literally sit on their asses and shoot the breeze for several minutes at a time. Show don't tell, fucker. And there was some real shitty cg here which wasn't even needed. The episode was bloated as shit at nearly two hours long although content-wise it had the content of a regular 60 min episode. Three pieces of action all ran short and amounted to nothing. Oh, and this ep guest-starred Marilyn Manson who was looking as bloated as fuck. The entire ep was put together like they ran outta money. This better be a fluke.

Also, been watching a bunch of Forensic Files. Even though they're freaking old and I probably saw most of them years ago but apparently don't recall them at all.
