Just finished Archer season 2. I'm constantly amazed at how gloriously filthy this show actually is, but it is hilarious. There's typically at least one point per episode that makes me laugh out loud and a lot of chuckles spread around. WHAH WHAH

Well there are like a lot of episodes...I don't even remember what episode that is from. It just stuck with me. That and "Some say he knows two facts about ducks and both are wrong."

I only see Top Gear when I came across it by accident while channel hopping aimlessly. Usually keep watching tho.

Unless a show has like 6 episodes, it will almost certainly change writers.

Typically a show has like a main writer dude or couple of dudes who keep the continuity or whatever and each episode is written by various people, right?

There is usually a head writer, who kinda makes sure everything is moving in one direction and he/she sometimes even writes the episodes that are important to the overall story themselves. Then they have other writers that come in and work on throw away episodes, or one shots...but sometimes work in stuff to the larger arc. Then you can also have like one writer's name on the episode, but behind the scenes another writer has punched it up some but didn't do enough to get a co-credit.

I still like Spartacus, but that's mainly because any series taking place in ancient Rome has immediate approval from me.
I really miss John Hannah this season though, the Batiatus character really made the show for me. i don't give a crap about Sparty and his slave rebellion.

Now I'm just waiting for Caesar and Crassus to enter the story

I haven't seen any of the more recent episodes but I have to say that Hannah did bring a lot of the tension into the show with the mere presence of his character. The rebellion never interested me that much either. Not past the episode where they killed Hannah's character anyway.

Prince of Space is a good one. The Fugitive Alien movies...Space Mutiny, Manos, Pod People, Cave Dwellers, The Day the Earth Froze, Teen-Age Strangler, Outlaw, Laserblast...
