I saw some of Bunraku on Netflix streaming. Man, what a steaming pile. Interesting premise but the main guys were boring and the fights were sloppy. And Ron Perlman's supposed to be the No. 1 fighter and he gets taken out in such a shit-way. Bah. Too bad. It could've been so much better.

So... Miyazaki did this show "Future Boy Conan" back when I was being born which looks pretty good. They release some Blu-Rays in Japan and this subbing group is doing them in HD so I'm going to give that one a shot.

Oh, cool! I saw maybe one or two episodes of that on this community channel thing back in the 90's or so where this local comic book store bought time to show some misc anime. I really wanted to see more of it but they would only air the same few when they showed it.

I watched ep one of the dub.

Which I think sucks balls. It's one of those dubs where they didn't take it seriously and they're saying all this dumb shit that you know isn't a proper translation.

I watched some of Bleak House based on the Dickens book and it is indeed bleak. I dunno if this falls on the story or on the ppl who made the adaptation. I enjoyed Little Dorrit but this one was dull and the lead chick was fugly indeed.

The first season. The one on Netflix. I'm hoping the second season and the special make it to streaming because with my schedule and the fact that Masterpiece comes out and reruns at times when I'm at work or asleep, I won't get to see the new stuff. Although it kinda sucks because I've already forgotten a great deal of what already happened. I hope they give us a good recap.

speaking of the brits, the new Sherlock movies are pretty damn good. Well, the first and the third episodes/movies are fucking awesome. The second one is just ok.

And speaking of just ok, watched Alcatraz. It has potential but I really don't want to get sucked back in. And would it have killed them to write some new music instead using left over tracks from LOST.

The third series won't be coming until 2013 at the earliest apparently. I guess after I see the new Sherlock, I'll have to settle for the Hobbit starring Watson featuring Holmes somewhere for a bit of Sherlock fix. Even though I was watching the Hobbit anyway.

Actually tried to watch this earlier, but I had to reorganize my books and that took my attention and it ended up just being background noise. Just waited till it came around again so I could watch it without distraction.

AFAIK It's not cancelled, just on temporary hiatus to let the returning 30 Rock and whatever that new show is called have some space.
