Berlin Wall’s 20th Anniversary Can’t Beat Sesame Street For Google Logo

I already posted this on FB, but there's at least two of you who aren't my fwend.   

Anyway, it was the anniv. of the fall of the Berlin Wall and Count von Count got the Google logo that day.  Here's the link.

I wish I could bitch about this more, except I forgot, too.  I was watching a rerun of something from yesterday and they mentioned it.

Also... why the hell is there a Big Bird midsection for this story's link on the New York Times?  And what is this "sesame wall" I can apparently buy at three different vendors?

Like I said on Facebook, those things have been up for days now and they've had like 3-4 different ones. I still think the fall of the symbol of Soviet oppression might be a little more important then a show full of felt guys with hands up their asses.
