This damn thing best not land on Monday. If I'm going to have to stay late every day afterwards handling claims, I'd better get a day off out of the deal.

Not according to the Cone of Uncertainty.

I think Baskin-Robbins shoud do a hurricane special called the Cone of Uncertainty whenever a storm gets into U.S. territory waters - for a dollar, the ice cream grunt closes his/her eyes and dives into the case with a scoop.

People in the Meridian area have already bought up all the gas cans and bottled water, and all the hotels are "no vacancy" since we're a regular evac route for coasters.

Gas was $3.29⁹ early this week...now at the same place it's $3.59⁹. Plus, Labor Day weekend's always a bitch when it comes to gas prices, so this is like a double whammy.

You guys need to send that damn hurricane this way. Until today we've been in the middle of a drought so bad, that the pond in front of my mom's trailer park, that used to be 6 feet deep, is now less than 6 inches deep. And I've NEVER seen the pond shrink that much! It sometimes goes down a foot, but never enough so you can see nearly the entire bottom.

Yesterday was great to clean, steam clean and reorganize a living room. It sure felt nice walking outside to cool off. Today has been rainy and gross though.
