I admit it, I love "Family Feud".
« on: Jun 27, 2008, 01:14:28 AM »
But I hate "Celebrity Family Feud".  I tuned in on Tuesday with the hopes of seeing Margaret Cho, who's supposed to be on the show.  First round was Ice-T's posse vs. Joan Rivers'.  Paraphrasing the first question:  What is slippery when wet and hard to hold on to?  Ice-T buzzes in.  "**BLEEEP**" with a Family Feud-style strike over his mouth.  FTW, this is Family Feud.  If I were a parent, I'd be pissed off.  This comes out at seven in the evening, it's too early to bombard the kidezz with this shit.  I just shake my head at the omen of things to come.  Al Roker is host, and he is as annoying as ever.  For the second question, Mrs. Ice-T comes to the buzzer to answer a question against Melissa Rivers.  Al Roker just stares and stares and stares at Mrs. Ice-T's boobs.  As if it weren't bad enough he already did that earlier.

Granted Ice-T and Joan Rivers aren't the most annoying people on the face of the Earth for me.  Al Roker is just plain unlikable.  The current daytime host of Feud is a bit of a letch as well, but at least he's a likable letch.  But I had had enough once they had finished the second question, because the second question was a complete answer-for-answer rip-off of one on the daytime show.  If Celebrity Family Feud were a person, I'd fuck it up the ass with Al Roker's head.  It's bad enough I would've had to suffer through Kardashians and Raven-Symone but recycled questions tears it.  I ain't suffering that much for Margaret Cho.

Also on an NBC note:

"Fear Itself" wastes more space than the first three panels of "Hi and Lois" in the Sunday paper.  Everybody and their mother knew the bride was the serial killer.  Bitches, please.

Hey, leave Toe alone. He has enough to deal with what with those Hershey's Kiss nipples of his.
10,000 steps down, round and round. One night on the town and I'm hellbound ... Black oceans beneath, come and swallow me. My little tower, seal my fate. Help me pay back, end their hate. Black oceans beneath, come and swallow me

The original host of Family Feud back in the 70s was the biggest letch of all.  But it worked 'cuz it was the 70s, and schmoozing women was okay.
The wife forgave the mistress for she only entertained.

Yeah, but Al Roker as a letch is like having Doug as a letch: It's too real and uncharming to everyone to work.
