Clinton Wins Texas.

Today I picked up a school paper.  Inside were two articles side by side:  "Clinton Rally Draws 2000" and "8000 Attend Obama Rally".  One thing's for certain, she sure as hell had more than 1/5 of the state's support.  Given how close it seemed, I have a feeling the Obama ppl either thought he had it in the can so they didn't bother or were too busy fainting to go vote.

Where did the rallies occur, both on campus? Obama's rallies usually occurr exclusively on college campuses where Hillary goes all over.

I'm glad she won. I don't want another Bush or Kerry running on the Democratic ticket. Bush in the sense that he's someone run by his advisors who plan everything and Kerry who is someone who is just a bloated whale whining in the water about to be raped by conservative sharks.

They don't actually eat Chinese food there. You'd have better luck in San Fransisco, which has all the gay and asian men you could eat and DELICIOUS Chinese food. China sucks as a country still. When the rebellion comes, it will burn.

The Democrats have a very fuckedup system.

Since it's a private political party, and America is NOT a democracy (anyone who says it is is either simplifying the process or doesn't know the constitution), the primaries are only a part of the selection process.

A super delegate is one of the voters who decide who is getting the nomination. The primaries DO NOT ELECT the nominee. It's funny since the republicans use a democratic process and the dems use a more republican  process, but then the names never really fit the idealology. The super delegate is a misnomer, since all delegates don't have to listen to the vote. Even though Obama and Clinton *have* pledged delegates, they can vote the other way just as easily. A super delegate votes on their own personal preferences. They are political leaders, representitives, past leaders (Bill and Hillary are both super delegates), governors, etc.

Superdelegates will decide this. Obama has the votes, but Hillary is snatching up the big important states. This is chess, not checkers.

So like the former governor of some place who is a dem could be a superdelegate?  They're basically rogue delegates?  The fuckers who are pledged better fucking vote the way the primary went or they'll get voted out of office won't they?  That shit is made public right?

Voted out by whom? Most delegates aren't elected officials. They're appointed by the party.

I mean...

Does it work like this:

A primary is held in Texas.  Texas has a bunch of delegates.  Hillary wins Texas.  The Texas delegates are therefore expected to vote for Hillary.  Can the Texas delegates say fuck the people's vote and vote for whomever they want?  What is the repercussion of them doing something like that if they are in fact allowed to do that?

Im not sure. They're pledged, so the party would cite them, and they would suffer the consequences, but then if the party tells them not to vote for Hillary then who knows what would happen.

The only thing for sure is that the 2008 DNC Convention will be one for the history books.

Delegates from a state will go with the vote.  Superdelegates don't.  Their support is won mainly through old-fashioned political finagling.  The whole process is BS, but that's your Democratic party for you.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Either way it goes, it'll be a bitchfest about the unfairness of the entire process.
