I was actually gonna say Geoshitties but decided on Homestead instead because fairly recently I was able to find some of my old shit still on there. And meanwhile, well, Geoshitties done blowed itself up, y'all.

I remember the first time I participated in a Yahoo chat with you people, and it totally freaked me out. Up until then, I hadn't considered any of you actual human beings, you were really nothing more than cartoon characters on my computer screen.

Eventually everyone left until it was only the BM folks remaining, and Toe kept going on and on about how he was a man, he was a real man.

I couldn't even keep up with the conversation, so I just sat and listened most of the time.

Last chat I got into with board people was over AIM, and it allowed voice IIRC. But I quit using IM back when I was demoted to dialup and never picked it back up as it's annoying as fuck when you're trying to use the onlines in your limited window of time.

Then again, I no longer help staff a big-assed board with hundreds of needy asswipes wanting my attention every waking moment like I used to, and DSL makes it much easier these days.

These days I think people just use Skype. I still have a lot of those kind of conversations. We just record them and release them as a podcast...

Is there any way to do a group video chat using either of those? My comp has problems with Skype.

There's always Tinychat ... but you have to be wary of randoms coming in. The ignore button is easy to find, though.
