On Chick-fil-A Cares :rolleyes: complaint, I mean, feedback form:

The hand-spun shake I ordered was terrible. It was a disgusting, runny mess. We had to turn around and go back to get a new one. The girl who made me a new one offered to let me taste it to see if it was to my liking, but then couldn't even be courteous enough to hand me a straw as she rudely pointed behind me and silently told me to get it myself. She just frowned and looked bothered the rest of the time. I'M the one that should be bothered, seeing as I paid 2.89 for a crappy shake, had to turn the car around, and go back just to get poor service and another crappy shake. It didn't even taste that good and they still skimped on the ice cream as it was still runny. I don't know if that store was being cheap on the ice cream or if that's how they're suppose to be made or what. If that's the way it's suppose to be made, then good luck selling more of those.

I've gone there in the past and when I ordered a fruit cup, there was little fruit in it. The pieces were small and it definetely wasn't worth the price we paid for. I only mentioned the fruit because I've never ordered nor will I ever order these two items again. I'll go to Jack-in-the-Box for a shake and make my own fruit cup. If your chicken and lemonade wasn't so delicious, I'd never go back at all. I'm certainly not returning to that location.

The first time, your bagger was talking to your cashier and my pastry was bagged with a sack of potatoes! I got them replaced and figured it was a one-time mistake. Well then bananas and canned foods were bagged together, leaving the bananas bruised. My bread, tortillas, and eggs were all shoved into one teeny bag, nearly squashing the bread products in the process. My fruit and meat products were bagged together. We buy large bottles of water. At best, four of those fit in a single bag. Your people insist on putting up to seven in a bag, making the bag tear at the bottom. Cold and warm products frequently find themselves neighbors in the bag, even when I seperate everything myself on the conveyer belt. I buy frozen meals and more than once your people insist on cramming up to ten of those things in one bag. I can't even carry that by the handles. Everytime I go to your store, I wonder which of your employees is going to crush or tear something today.

Stop being cheap with the bags. I'm a paying customer, my food deserves to be bagged correctly. I shouldn't have to re-bag everything once I'm out in the parking lot in order to put it in the car.

I love everything else about your store but your bagging sucks. And it may help to tell your cashiers and baggers to stop talking to each other when they have customers and pay closer attention to what they're doing, as that has been a problem on a couple of occassions.

Looks like I've got my third mofo: the San Antonio Express News, or rather whoever's in charge of subscriptions and such down there. This kid comes knocking on the door to sell us the paper. I say we already get it. That should be enough but not for this little brat.

Me: "What do you want?"
Brat: "Is your mom or dad home?"
Me: "WE'RE in charge. What do you want?"
Brat: "Would you like to buy the Sunday paper" blah blah blah
Me: "We get the paper."
Brat: "Noooo you don't."
Me: "Yes we do."
Brat: "Nooo."
Me: "We get the paper. We got it this morning."
Brat: "Noooo. Only one house gets the paper on this street."
Me: (defensively) "Are you calling me a liar? You're saying we don't get it and we get it. You're calling me liar."
Brat: ".........." *smile* "Noooo..."
Me: "Yes you are, you're calling me a liar." (to Merla) "I can't believe this."

So we go into how long we've been getting it (I don't really know that anyway) and Merla shows him a paper. Kid motions to his trusty clipboard as infalliable proof.

Me: "Did it ever occur to you that that thing could be WRONG?"
Brat: "It's what the guy who throws the paper looks at."
Me: "People make mistakes."
Merla: "A woman throws our paper."
Brat: "Noooooo."

I should've asked him where I could call to speak to a superior. What a load of ass. And even though I call him a kid, this isn't like a ten year old or something. It's a teenager. I'm old enough to call them kids now. Whoever's in charge should tell him to move the fuck on instead of debating answers and not bother spinsters on their leisurely Sunday morning. Our neighbors get papers, too, so it looks like someone's moving in on someone else's territory.

Well it's fine with me since I like their sandwiches anyway and that 2-something I paid was a rip-off, so they owe me. I just don't want these things to only be valid at that particular store (since something in their response kinda gave me that feeling). I'm sure as hell not going to the same lousy one to redeem them.

Door-to-door paper solicitor should have had the clipboard rolled up and shoved into his urethra sideways.

When I complain about service or quality in a restaurant (and I'm more lenient on that than I should be), I don't take vouchers or gift certificates or whatever. I get up and leave with the intention of never going back. Applebee's and O'Charley's are the only ones I've felt compelled to do that to so far.

Well the quality of the chicken wasn't the issue, which is why I go there in the first place. The chicken and lemonade is always good. It's everything else that needs work. I'm using the gift cards for chicken and lemonade. I'm never buying the fruit or the shakes again, nor will I visit that location. It's out of the way anyway.

Things I have and still boycott due to service issues:
Burger King
Blockbuster Video
Dell

I choked on a piece of plastic in my Sonic blast once. They offered me a free one and I gave it to Schmoo. I haven't eaten from there since, but it's not so much "damn them" as it is that I just haven't gone.

Then at a Chinese restaurant here an employee was being all loud and cussing while we were trying to enjoy dinner. However, I've been there countless times and the food is great and the service is most of the time as well. I take my food To-Go 95% of the time anyway, so it's not an issue as much.

What happened at Applebee's and O'Charley's, if I may ask?
