Only thing that stopped me from posting one of these earlier was that he never posts. Guess we'll see if he sticks around long enough to post, or if I go back to reading the LOST thread and being....well lost.

BSG has been really boring this season. It seems like they are just doing filler episodes till they get to the cool shit at the end of the season. I know the writers are stuck on making this show more than just a silly scifi show but the writers need to tone it down on love sick Apollo and super average man Chief Tyrol.

It does seem to have gone a little down hill since the big "Cylon invasion of New Caprica." I've been getting a little peeved that they recaptured Baltar, but havn't even seemed to addressed that they have him and Caprica 6 both on boar, since. And two episodes about the Chief when he played such a big part in the two parter awhile back just seems a bit much.

Killing Starbuck seemed like a cop out to me. They talked out her big destiny and how she had been painting the nova that would lead them to earth since she was a child only to learn that the painting was a storm and that her destiny was to get blown to bits.

Still better then Lost though, at least they answer question and resolve plotline on this show. Is Baltar a cylon? NO! Will Apollo leave Dee for Starbuck? NO! Will Adama ever bend Roselyn over his desk? Maybe! And we know who 8 of the Cylons are..only 5 more to go.

Well this weeks episode was a little more on track and more like the BSG of old. Pretty clear Adama doesn't know how close Apollo and Starbuck really where. And seeing both Sam and Apollo dealing with Starbucks death was a good kind of closure between those two. It was nice to see them revist that Sharon and Cally don't like each other, considering that Kallie shot the first Sharon and Sharon is on the flight deck with Cally all the time I'm surprise it took this long to exploit that. And we get back to Baltar and Six and get some forward movement on that story.

But really caught me is Baltars new lawyer. I don't know what this guy is up to, but he is up to something. I doubt he is a Cylon, but he has some kind of agenda and it's not a need to get Baltar out of jail. And He's cool as hell.
