I forget who here hates going to see movies in the theatre. And normally I never advocate going to see a comedy in the theatre because I figure it's just as good on a small screen, but this movie is too good to wait on, plus being in college I am expected to be able to drop the latest one liners at any given moment.

It's not really the theater as much as the people in it. I love seeing movies in the theater, I think it's the only correct way to see a movie. However, the people that also inhabit the theater with me keep me away. Well that and the fact that it cost 10 bucks before popcorn.

I have a difficult track record with comedy films... in that I rarely find them comedic. I don't remember the last time I saw a straight-up comedy film in a theater. The last one I recall is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I also believe the way to see movies is in the theater, but I refuse to waste my time and money going to the theater just have some bint talking on their cellphone or sneaking in an entire chicken dinner or whatever. That's why a kick-ass home theater is on my wish list for the future.

And I always remember the movie "Shaft" with Sam Jackson just because it was one of the best movie experiences ever. It was on a weekday morning with a light crowd, sitting sparsely throughout the theater and actually watching the damn movie.

Polar Express was pretty good, too, just because we were like three of eight people in the whole freaking IMAX.

I'd like to go on record as saying that I wouldn't mind paying more if I were guaranteed a talkfree/phone free/sneaking-a-bunch-of-food-in-and-unwrapping-it-noisily-free experience. I love sneaking in a candy bar or a juice box now and then but nigga please.

Ideally, it would have seating for at least twenty people, but it'll only be for when I feel like sitting near the aisle or in the middle or in the back if I have to pee a lot and don't want to interrupt the movie for myself as I get up to go to my bathroom.

Yeah. I get you. I got a Home Theater set up at the momment, but it's just a big screen, a 5.1 system and a ratty old couch that use to pull out into a bed, but that's broke. I really want like the whole seats and little rope light aisle markings and all a seperate AC unit so I can crank it up so cold that I can see my breath to really get that Movie Theater feel.

I'll have to second the Nyquil. Used to knock me out like a sack of hammers. Now I'm not so sure if sleep medications have such a strong effect on me anymore, especially since I won't go near them now.
