Spanking, like youth, is wasted on the young.  ;D

Sorry; I was a bit drunk busy. Finally I can access the forum from work again. :poo:

Let me preface this by saying that Eddie & I are perfectly happy; nothing wrong, etc. Nothin' gonna happen.  :nono:  But someone apparently has a crush on me and hey, I'm damn flattered.  He's a server at a restaurant I frequent and we clicked immediately.  6'3", fucking gorgeous Hispanic guy, all onyx and smoky topaz coloring with liquid midnight eyes.  Got the crush news from two sources, male & female, so I'm not doubting.  It's just that he's....

um....

well....

Hey, how about that Sidney Crosby OT goal in the Gold Medal game??!! ;D

Dammit.... he's...uh, twenty-one.

*hides*

I'll always remember Wilford for the stupid oatmeal commercial: "Didja know Quakers Oats benefits you twice?"  Hell, just say it fills you up and helps you poo.  Live in truth!

He should have held off and splooged her when she opened the door.  That'll learn her whack-interrupting ass.  :finger:

The last time I was seriously carded was at age 36.  I credit sunblock.

I'm trying to imagine balls so furry they need mowing.

Tropical Paradise of Hard Shelled Fruits / IT'S SNOWING HERE!!!!
« on: Dec 04, 2009, 12:54:03 PM »
Yeah, yeah - everyone in colder climes laugh.  It's a freaking miracle in these parts.  And we won't be sweating our wool & velvet-clad asses off tomorrow at Dickens on the Strand in Galveston.  :poo:

Happy birthday to Merla & Sam and anyone else I missed.  Apologies - not only am I now banned from RIAS at work as it's deemed a social site, but one of my dearest friends/coworkers finally lost the good fight with her H1N1/pneumonia-weakened bad lungs on Saturday.  It had been a long haul, and I'm glad she's out of pain.  I know how she would have breezed in the door this morning: "Holy SHIT it's SNOWING!!"   Called our 6'4"  UT football hero president a dumbass probably every day and he was crying so hard he couldn't finish the eulogy Wednesday.  I love people like that.  ;D

Now 'scuse me while I make another absinthe and catch up on Suited Rabbit Land.

Even though hopelessly dated, I still like Escape from New York.  Escape from L.A., however, was so bad it didn't even qualify as a joke.

Yay - another "cool" front tonight, which does nothing but set off another round of storms to slog to work in and drop the temp about 3 degrees.  We have algae growing on the ground in spots.    :goddammit:

The chirp is good - you have warning, as opposed to the divebombing giant Texas roaches.  You're lucky to hear a faint flutter of wings before the attack.  :o

Go 50's Warner Bros. and say "or DON'T!" in a stentorian voice.

Happy Birthday EvilduomonkeyTomDerrick!

Yes, awakening to the gentle hum of the A/C is one of my favorite childhood holiday season memories. :P

Those noses were really distracting.  It was like watching a Cyrano fan club meeting.  And Merle got on my last nerve - the dub voice, the character, everything. :finger:

76
Did you get the rain I wished your way Tuesday Nuri, huh, huh??!  I almost went off the road trying to drive in to work  - visibility was practically zero from rain.  :(

77
The Republican party controls the insurance industry in Texas, so I know what my opinion at work has to be on anything related to the health care debate, whether it's my opinion or not.   The few times I've been around a political argument and it was obvious I was expected to make a comment, I've said, "You know, if we apologize and go back to England, we'll see Prince William on TV a lot more...." with a big grin.   Got me out of there safely every time.

78
I've seen this place more in the past two months than the sun.  8)  I'll send my rain to San Antonio & Brownsville.

I'm happy today.  Humidity is low and it's getting cooler; lovely blue sky.  Bring on autumn!   :hump:

Linda is a prime example of why fair-skinned people shouldn't get tans.  She's only 5 years older than me.  :o

Let's hope Kanye doesn't crash Patrick's funeral to rant that Michael Jackson was a better dancer.

There's been a strange golden glowing sphere in the sky all morning that seems vaguely familiar.  The clouds are gathering, trying to smother it.   :(

I was wondering why Flower kept sitting that way

Holding his tail up out of the way with a come-hither expression?

Forget that - Headlines was the only reason I watched.

Just hit each other with drumsticks and avoid the intestinal mischief danger altogether.

Here's the latest reason for me to loathe Houston:

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ent/arts/gray/6563161.html

Another gray cloudy day.  the weather prediction has been the same every day going on nine weeks now - "chance of rain/thundershowers".   Guess I should be on the lookout for Twilight vampires to move here from Washington State.

86
November through March is the best time here.  I wish I could move or hibernate (in a 3-story pier & beam house on a hill) from May through October.  I'm hoping the flood demons will be content with the April sacrifice and spare us the usual October 2-day monsoon.

87
Jay Leno skewered him when he tried to blame behavior on grief over the death of his mother.

He grew up a couple of streets over from us.

Personally I'd be a bit concerned if a neighbor was engaging in a activity considered illegal in 50 states and D.C. that tends to attract a criminal element but hey, that's just me.

Except he'll only have to trace around two fingers for the ears instead of all five for the tail.
