I've been saying for a long time that I don't understand why we expected to drink a cow's breast milk (or other animals) but people freak out over the idea of drinking human milk. They should sell human milk in supermarkets, or at least whole food stores. Pasturized and homogenized just like cow milk. I bet people who drank it would be a whole lot healthier than people who drank other animals' milk, especially considering the crap they feed livestock these days.

I think most people would like to have the person they love covered by their health care and insurance, share finances, be able to make decisions for them if they're incapacitated or even be able to stay in the ICU if they're in the hospital. As long as same-sex marriages aren't allowed a gay person's partner has no more rights than a casual friend.
