Still Alive - Jonathon Coultan

"This was a triumph...
I'm making a note here...Huge Success...
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Aperture science....we do what we must because we can...
For the good of all of us...except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying until you run out of cake.
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun for the people who are still alive.

I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
And tore me to pieces. And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you.
Now these points of data make a beautiful line
and we're out of beta and releasing on time
so I'm glad I got burned, think of all the things we learned
for the people that are Still Alive....

Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you'll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa. That was a joke. Ha Ha. Fat chance.
Anyway, this cake is great, it's so delicious and moist.
Look at me still talking when there's science to do.
When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you.
I've experiments to be run, there's research to be done.
On the people who are still alive.
ANd believe me I'm still alive.
I'm doing science and I'm still alive.
I feel fantasic and I'm still alive.
And while you're dying I'll be still alive.
And when you're dead I'll be still alive.
Still alive. Still Alive."

Congrats! One of my friends went in and is currently a Navy Seal, specializing in underwater demolitions.

I just heard IDE whoop in approval.

96
I miss those days....

97
A little blood now and then wouldn't necessarily be bad, but no, no head rolling perse.

98
These show's are one reason I'm okay with not having cable.
Though I keep hearing great things about Ninja Warrior. Wipeout's kind of funny, and the Japanese Gameshow one is...I dunno yet. Still on the fence.

99
Wow.

I implied nothing of the sort. I merely stated that I was uncertain whether I wanted to know the implications or background of "Schmoo" as a nickname. Your mind implied something risque!

...Unless of course it's true.

I'm not sure if I want to know or not.

104
Man. I hate to say this, but I have to agree with D on one thing.
Black people always seem to be the one's who give out the most trouble. In my case, Big Black Women. SO full of attitude!

105
All of the above?

Cocksuckers. I gotta put everything back in a queue? Fuckers.

I think people are getting DUMBER. Ridiculous. Can't figure out the Profile feature, jesus christ.

109
Seriously. It's like he stopped being good after Signs, and even that had some serious plotholes that weren't apparent in Unbreakable or Sixth Sense.

I hate it cause it does drag everything out. They killed Eko, and that's when I stopped watching. I liked Eko. I liked Hugo's girlfriend. I liked that guy who fell with the plane in the first season! Everytime they resolve something, about ten new questions go up. Like that damn season ender.
How did Locke get off the island? Then it becomes How did Locke DIE?! Maybe they'd already answered how he got off or something during the previous season, but that's an example.

I don't mind show's that make me think. It's the one's that make me think about a subject, answer the subject KIND OF, and then branch off ten new things from the answered subject that have to do with that subject but go off somewhere else.....EVERY TIME.

I've grown to hate this show. Just...SO....MANY...TWISTS.....QUESTIONS.....

114
I'm...just not going to watch it.

115
I wouldn't know.

116
Please. I've held this Job for 2 years and never walked out....despite not letting myself get treated like shit. I'm definitely no Doug.

I am considering getting another job though. I applied at the LGS, though that fell through. I'm looking into some other options.

117
We sell the stupidest crap too. Lots of gag crap like fake dog crap, bloody needle pens....ridiculous.

118
Our shelves would drive you crazy.
I can't fathom what satisfaction anyone could draw from mixing up our pens, leads, and various pencils. What does that achieve?!

119
Hated Temple of Doom sooo much.

120
That's fun. I like picking the books and packing them up. That's easy. Even if my packaging skills are sometimes Frankenstein-esque.
