Well, if that's real, then this means that either Peter Parker had some metrosexual redesign his costume and black is the new red, or the studios saying that Venom wouldn't be in the next movie was a lie to throw us off.

It could be a shop, still. The eyes look off.

And if it's just a black costume, and not an alium or anything...

Silly Rama, that is a photo from Spider-Man 2...

...WHEN THEY WERE SHOOTING SCENES FOR SPIDEY 3 EARLY!

(Nah. It's just a photoshopped pic from Spidey 2 shooting.)

Here (slight spoilers from an action scene in Spidey 3)

I don't know why they had to use Sandman as the main villian in this move. He has to be the most gay and unknown villian in the entire series. At least they could have done Hobgoblin, Harry's Green Goblin, or something else.

Also, I think I figured out something about the suit. From what I've read, in the comics Spidey dons an emo-black suit for a short while, right before he becomes infected by the alien. So perhaps he does get infected by the alien, but Venom doesn't show up until the end of the movie or something.

What Universe we talking...If it's the main Marvel Universe that's not how it happened. The black costume was the alien from the start, and Spider-Man wore a reproduction of the black costume after he freed himself from the Alien costume. He later destroyed that suit and went back to his Red and Blue outfit after Venom showed up, but wore another copy of it when he fought Morbius and the Morlocks.

If he wore again after that I don’t know I got out of comics not to long after that happened. I don’t know anything about the Ultimate universe so I don’t know how different the Venom origin is in that one. I do know he is in it though cause I’ve played the Ultimate Spider-Man video game.

And I was kinda hoping for Mysterio in Spider-Man 3. It would have worked well with MJ wanting to be an actress, and Mysterio being a disgruntled FX guy.

But Mysterio is lame.

EDIT: Well, y'know, I want to see Spidey fighting real threatening super-powered things... not just illusions and robots and smoke and mirrors and robot T-rexes.

Not as lame as Rad Racer.....I know that doesn't help my case, but it's true non-the-less.

Sorry, Rocket Racer. Got his name and the name of an old NES game my buddy use to have mixed up.
