Title: Just in time for holiday shopping!
Post by: Bernie AKA on Sep 13, 2004, 10:41:52 AM
I predict that getting their wallets, um, husbands to buy them one will be the next status symbol for soccer moms since Hummers are getting a bit passe'.

I wonder how much the body count from gang wars will increase because of this.

Probably little. It will make getting machine guns easier, but I'm sure they could get them even with the law in place.

Yep.  Need those assault riffles to hunt dear and protect my family from like... a well organized rogue swat team.

Yeah, Merla was ranting to me about this.  I think even now regular guns are too easy to get.  The sole purpose behind a gun is to kill something.  Anyone who isn't a cop or doesn't hunt has no reason in the world to possibly own one.

......well, yeah... but.........you weren't in the fucking army, and you didn't get to fire at little man-shaped black things popping up from behind grass burms.

I want a Colt-15 so bad. So, so bad.

I'm serous about buying one, but now's just not the time that I should be spending money on something like that.  I'm waiting for some more black people to move into my neighborhood.

On a more serous note, I honestly do want to own a large firearm, and I simply don't have a good reason to own it. "missing" weapons just isn't a good excuse.

Get big, sharp knives! No one calls you a terrorist when you have knives, until you go on a killing spree with them, that is.

Ask Cappy to pretend he's been dishonored and then see if he commits suicide.

And don't use any honorifics when you say it.  You know, to really drive the point home.

I think I've seen that about 5 times.

Though I'm amazed in Faye's taste in movies.  The Exorcist roxors.

It's a good movie, and maybe I wouldn't be COMPLETELY bored watching it again, but I just don't have an intense desire to.

Eh, it was creepy but I just didn't think it was that great a movie.  I like stuff with werewolves for some reason.

It's one of those that I'll watch every other year or so.  Since it's not in constant rotation, I haven't gotten sick of it like I have of the Nightmare & Halloween movies.  I avoid the Hellraisers for that very reason - I don't want to get tired of them.

Now I want to see Reanimator & Basket Case. :(

Reanimator was good. But for some reason, the horror film comunity seems to elevate unjustly to like,  Nightmare level.

I've only seen one Hellraiser movie, one Freddy movie, and none of the Halloween ones.  I didn't really watch movies like that as a kid, mostly because I was already scared of the dark to begin with and well... I was scared.  Once I got old enough to get over it, I no longer had any desire to see any of those movies.
