Those fucking thieves across the street stole some chairs from us among other things and you know where those chairs are right now? Sitting out in their front lawn!! Facing our house!! That just isn't right! Those fucking people!
-
Police station. ASAP. Tell them what happened, and ask for a home ID kit. If they don't have one, they can tell you where to get one. Engrave a last name & last 4 digits of someone's TDL on anything you want to keep. If you go over there, you'll just get a stupid grin and a story about how their brother-in-law's sister's cousin gave the chairs to them, or a "fuck you, bitch, prove it", neither of which you can counter without permanent ID on the items.
-
1. I don't understand what you mean by the home ID kit.
2. I'm scared of calling the police. I know I should but I'm scared of any possible retaliation.
3. Although I think we have one chair left just like the ones that got taken, how are we suppose to prove those are ours. I think we sent the report in (it took us a while to get it in).
4. What's a TDL?
5. Can you drive over here and save me? :(
-
I'm just really really lost. I don't know what I should do. :(
-
Also, I still have to live here and so does the rest of my family. I know that none of them would call the police because no one wants any further involvement with those horrible people. It's a mix between anger, wanting justice, fear, and confusion.
-
*drives down to Nuri's house with a shot gun* XD
-
*hitchhikes down with her chainsaw and hockeymask*
-
I feel sick. If you shoot them up, I won't tell anyone. I promise.
-
Do you have plenty of freezer space, or will more creativity be needed to dispose of the corpses?
-
More creativity. That's a lot of corpses. A dozen or so different people (at the least) go in and out of that house.
-
Home ID kits have a manual or electric engraving tool. You can ID all kinds of things with it. Refrain from going across the street with it and engraving "DON'T STEAL OUR STUFF, FUCKHEAD" in their house or hands, though. Ask at the same station you filed/got the report form, and I think they can update it.
TDL is Texas Driver's License. Old advice was engraving a social security number, but I definitely wouldn't do that.
Unfortunately, unless you have dated photos of those chairs in your old house, they could just as easily point at your one remaining chair & claim that YOU stole it from THEM. Personally, I would put the other chair on the curb in plain view of them, and call across the street, "Want this one too? My grandma peed in all of them before she died, so you might want to clean them again." :P
I think you all need to say "Fuck SA" and and start your new lives by renting the house next door to us. :D
-
dude thats pretty fucked up, but yeah, u should start putting your name/intitials in everything u leave outside!
thats the same way that happens here, the only difference is that instead of chairs, they steal beer pong tables >_<
-
...
The stupidity of a game like beer pong aside, why would you leave something like that outside?
-
If you're suggesting I go over there and engrave the chairs and then call the police there's no way in hell. There is someone there ALL the time (especially at night) and they come outside unpredicatably. My best chance would be to wait until I see no cars and the house is dark but even then, there could still be people I don't see and there's a huge streetlight in front of their house.
I'm leaning towards a few things...
1. Child Protective Services.
Though they all look like young kids to me, its hard to tell the ages of the people living there. There is however at least one without-a-doubt minor that has permanent residence there. He is constantly being exposed to their uncouth behavior and right now, he's playing outside by those chairs. (Funny, I didn't think today was a holiday. Isn't there something called... SCHOOL!?) My aunt said it would be anonymous if we reported them and although I would hope it would do something, I don't see it having much if any affect.
2. Contact their landlord.
I don't think this is possible. I don't even know who the landlord is, though we've been told by two parties that those people are renting, we don't know if they in fact own the house or if they know the landlord. Complaining to him/her probably wouldn't do much good either. Maybe if it were rented through an agency, but not even then. Unless they're anal like Remax. Chances are it's a person who just wants their money every month, even if it comes from stolen property.
3. Say, do you know anyone who could...
The dangerous third option. Ask various people, relatives, co-workers, or even my stupid dad if they know anyone who could either mess those people up, vandalize their house, or at the very least steal our chairs back. (Not that I want them back, but neither do I want them there out front mocking me.)
Those are the thoughts going through my head though I'll probably do none due to the sheer futility of it all. Even if I did act, it'd be a different story if we had as many people over here all the time as they did. I'm also concerned about them coming over and killing our pets as a form of retaliation. They look like the sort and I would never forgive myself if that happened, even if they did get caught for it and we got all of our stuff back and then some, it wouldn't be worth it. Those are my kids.
-

We never left them outside to begin with. They were stolen from inside of our house.

goddamn! i can see your future, dying at 90 years alone, never being married, aaaall alone.
Nuri, the only prob I see of you not doing nothing is that then they'll keep doing stuff like that to you(stealing your stuff) cause maybe the chairs was like a test, you know, "steal her chairs, put them in the front and see what she would do"
-

o shit! so they actually got IN the house! are u sure they didnt steal anything else???
-
You mean besides all of the other stuff we already know was taken? No. I imagine years from now, I'll be looking for something, not find it and think to myself "well damn, that got stolen, too".
Merla is insisting those aren't our chairs. I really can't tell. Though they look a little higher in the back than our leftover, at the same time, the two that got stolen could've also been higher in the back and darker in shade. We didn't use them often enough to tell. Also, it's a strange coincidence that we have two chairs (two, no more, no less), blue, with a netted drink holder on each side, similar style stolen from us and now our neighbors that the other neighbors even suspect of having done the crime have two chairs (no more, no less) blue, with netted drink holders of nearly identical style. Frankly, I'm not getting up close and inspecting them to find out.
I did send a query over to the SAPD, just to get an answer of what the hypothetical outcome would be in this situation.
-
goddamn! i can see your future, dying at 90 years alone, never being married, aaaall alone.
 ???? Let's challenge this theory!
Personal Stats:
Times I've played beer pong: zero
Marriages - more than one
Former Lovers: Let's just say more than ten ;)
My brother has also never played beer pong, and he estimates over 3,000 sexual encounters before he settled down with his sweetie. :)
Conclusion: The lack of Beer Pong in one's life has no adverse effects on one's companionship or matrimonial prospects.
On to our regularly scheduled topic:
If you're suggesting I go over there and engrave the chairs and then call the police there's no way in hell.
NonoNOnono! I'm afraid the chairs are history and, as Faye mentioned, are being used to goad you. Pursue the CPS angle, as a report will be held confidential, and just might land some of the losers in jail. (Wanna bet one of the teenho's is the mother?) If you're really curious about the landlord/owner, go here (http://www.bcad.org/property.htm) and enter the address.

nono not just because of that beer pong thing, just her as a whole. i dont wanna analyze her, because i really cant care less, but, she seems waay too angst for a 14, 15, or 16 old girl and for whatever reason she only wants to bully me. as i repeat, i dont really care. im just saying.
-
But as I mentioned I didn't want the chairs themselves anyway. I just don't want them being lorded about in front of me. So now I don't get what you meant by calling the police ASAP and engraving stuff. Are you suggesting then that I get one of those kit thingies and go to town on all of the stuff I own?
::looks at the link::
-
And I think Faye crossed her wires with my future, where I die never having been married, all alone, but at 40 of a heart attack. Then my cats, locked in and hungry, feast upon the corpse.
-
Wow, that site is cool! Bernie has all sorts of smarts and thangs!
I think this might be them. Dunno if the link will necessarily work if I post it...:
http://www.bcad.org/reports/rp2/d247/f156.rep (http://www.bcad.org/reports/rp2/d247/f156.rep)
I don't remember the exact address, but that one's the closest one to ours and it matches the story by the neighbor that both houses opposite us are owned by same people since this one is theirs as well:
http://www.bcad.org/reports/rp2/d247/f157.rep (http://www.bcad.org/reports/rp2/d247/f157.rep)
A letter will be composed to these people, this I vow. (Even if it is anonymous, which it will be.)
-
Yep, go to town on all of your current possessions with the engraver. I know this kind of implies that it may happen again, which we want to send all kinds of vibes AGAINST, of course, but studies have shown that thieves tend to leave engraved things alone because they're difficult to fence. Some police departments have an actual program you can sign up for called Operation ID - couldn't find one for SA, but it just might not be online. Here's how the program works: Op ID in Arlington (http://www.arlingtonpd.org/index.asp?nextpg=CrimePrevention/opid.asp)
-
Well I'm starting to begin a catalog of seriel numbers on my stuff, though I don't know if that would help. I know it's negative nancy, but I don't see them being undaunted by engraved possessions. They took my teeth moldings. I don't think they were interested in fencing as much as they were in just taking things for themselves. I'll keep that in mind though.
I don't suppose this engraver thingy is something you can pick up cheap at Home Depot if Op ID in Arlington says to borrow one from the fire department.
-

Okay, if you really can't care less, then why the fuck are you saying anything at all? And I'm sorry if you feel bullied by me (which I didn't think was possible, what with your elitist "go and watch Nickelodeon" attitude), but I do try to treat everyone equally. You just happen to say more things that I find objectionable than others do. If anyone else was even a little like you, I'd tease them in the same way.
How the hell am I angsty? I guess I never thought of myself as being that way. If that is how you feel, please elaborate.
You really don't know me well enough to say that I'm gonna live my whole life by myself. Yes, I tend to be a solitary person, but that's not really enough to judge a person by. And, you know, I might just be happier alone. Not everyone finds getting drunk and partying on a regular basis fun.
-
I just thought of something. If I hypothetically bought an engraver (assuming a level of affordability), would I have to buy another engraver so I can engrave the engraver I just bought?
-
I thought 14-16 was all about angst. Full House lied to me?
-
It is. They didn't. Between 14-16, I was in a passionate love affair with my best (female) friend, was cutting myself with razor blades, drinking, also hot for the most gorgeous guy in the sophomore class Erik who was infatuated with my best friend and admitted he was gay when we told him we were in love (he & I became each other's cover stories), AND on top of that, played the sweet, innocent lead character Laurey when we did "Oklahoma!" as the class musical. If that ain't hell, tell me what is. :P
I did get to kiss Erik without my girlfriend getting jealous though.
-
Bernie could write a novel about all her stories!
-
I'll have to wait until I'm a lot older & don't care about cancer so I can dictate them from a chaise lounge with a snifter of Remy Martin and smoke from a platinum-banded cigarette holder drifting languidly through my sighs. I'm short on worldly mystique at this point.
-
Well shit.
Can't you just lie in the novel?
-
Okay, if you really can't care less, then why the fuck are you saying anything at all? And I'm sorry if you feel bullied by me.
cause i just wanted to give one last statement(and i just did) :D
(btw i chose the wrong word, its not "bullied"...when i get the correct word i'll get back to you).
finito.

The part about cutting yourself and the lead in the musical reminds me of my friend who did the same thing last year. She seems like the last person to cut herself, but she did it because no one paid attention to her. Or.. the people she WANTED attention from weren't giving it up.
I just thought of something. If I hypothetically bought an engraver (assuming a level of affordability), would I have to buy another engraver so I can engrave the engraver I just bought?
Yes, and then you'd have to engrave THAT engraver with a friend's engraver to save money.
-
Thats a really scary situation and I hope an answer finds you Nuri. :(
-
Light the house on fire.

Jesus fucking christ! Talk about a fucked up (or interesting, depending on your view) teenage life. I wish I had something even remotely interesting. All I did around that age was fail half of 9th grade and take summer school, get a boring ass retail job with evil managers, pine over a girl friend a year older than me who already had a fiance, and play Quake tournaments all the time with my nerd friends.
As for Nuri's problem, considering I have this desire to blame the problems of the world on SOMEONE that I can kill (besides Bush), I feel like hooking up with some of my ex-army buds, driving over there in a tank, and unleashing heavy firepower on these guys.
Problem is, I've never fired an assault rifle. I'll have to learn first.
-
My friend did heroin when he was 11 . . . uh . . . nothing else really bad has ever happened to me though, except being poor. Piss poor.
-
Yeah, get some drugs, and place em around the house, or even in the trash. Then call the cops from a pay phone, say there's drugs being dealt there, and watch the fun.
-
im happy nothing bad happened to me or to people around me when i was young:-D
-
God ....DAIMN IT, Faye, you're at it in THIS thread, too!
Okay... <_< ..stop with the rich and privelleged entirely, and just cut back on the Brazilian.
-
She's Peruvian. Why can't she be happy about her life?
-

Don't think that was it because I was very secretive about it & wouldn't cut anywhere visible. It just made me feel better, like the old "releasing evil humours" theory behind bloodletting used as a medical procedure. But then, hell, two parochial school girls with homophobic parents in love?? This wasn't exactly a "same sex couples okay at the prom" environment. Our whole existence was shame & deception. Still, we stayed together for 6 years, which beats shit out of a lot of marriages.
-
I think Faye was damaged as a child... she reminds me of the fat girl from the Oblongs.
-

EXCUSE ME for not having any kind of problems when i was a kid! and having a happy childhood doesnt mean im "rich", thankyouverymuch.

well i think u were butt-fucked by every male in your family, but we dont talk about that in here, do we

Oh, and "Facts and Phalluses" = best title ever.
-
Nuri....... NURI! Faye's being rich again!! :o
-
Wear a monocle like Mr. Peanut and you can be rich, too.
-
He needs a tophat and a cane. Some deodorant would hurt either.
-
Damn. The Btich's spying on me.
-
Who, me? Oh, wait. Whew. I'd have been scared if you'd figured out that the Bitch was spying on you.
-
As long as you're willing to hook me up with the aforementioned monacle and top hat, do whatever you damn well please concerning me.
-
*snaps some old glasses in half and gives Megs an old New Year's hat*
-
:gleefully accepts: :D wheeeeeeee!!
-
You can't forget the spats and gloves either.
-
Want some fake dollar bills in an old coin purse, too?
-
Mr. Peanut doesn't carry a purse. He's all man.
-
All peanut, you mean.
You could always put it in your shoe.
-
Nuri....... NURI! Faye's being rich again!! :o
:slaps Megs:
-
::pretends not to like it::
-
:kicks megs in the balls:
-
 ooooooooooooooo.....................
.......I am not THAT good of an actor
-
I have boots you can use next time, Faye. :D
-
And then one ball falls off!
-
i was thinking about using one of those shoes that have sharp ehmm "points" or whatever its called. directly to his nuts, one of them would break for sure, then meg would be "megatronEUNUCH"
-
uhhhhh......... I would be laughing at that if my nuts didn't hurt this much..... ugh
-
And the other one kinda rots like a baby tooth and won't come out unless you have your dad wiggle it with a towel.
-
Mine always threatened me with horror stories about strings tied to loose teeth and slamming doors.
-
Mine always threatened me with horror stories about strings tied to loose teeth and slamming doors.
i slammed a finger in a door once... took it right off and i had to get it sewn back on.
fuck that, it sucks.
speaking of which, has anyone heard the story about the guy who got trapped under a boulder and so he broke his own arms and sawed through the skin with a dull pocket knife to free himself? fuck me in the ozarks i can't even imagine that sort of pain.
-
yeah i heard about something like that, but in this case it was one leg
-
You're talking about that one guy that everyone made out to be a hero because he sacrificed his arm to save his life? Fucking moron, I would have laughed if the search team showed up 10 minutes later.
I once lost a tooth from eating a piece of Mambo, they're so tough and chewy it it pulled the tooth right out!!
But my personal best was loosing one in 2nd grade during class with blood gushing out of my mouth.

-
I've hard more teeth fall out then are s'posed to.
-
My parents babied me and let me keep my teeth in longer than they should've, so my permanents didn't grow in as nice and straight like they should.
-
........... :) ............mine did
-
What's that? You want your teeth knocked out?
-
*gets a bat*
-
That better be a metal bat.
-
Fuck you. It better be god damn fuckin diamond if'n you aim to loosen up these babies.
-
A steel-toed boot should suffice. *gets out the shoe polish*
-
How can a bat not work?
-
Because I am that fucking manly.
-
You're teeth make you a man?
-
Because I am that fucking manly.
can u open a beer bottle using your teeth?
-
EW! Ow!
-
Because I am that fucking manly.
can u open a beer bottle using your teeth?
I did that to a soda bottle once, the kind that's made like a beer bottle. Fucking hurt, but if that makes me a badass, them I'm a fucking badass.
-
And hence your earlier post is explained.
-
Too bad the badass flosses daily. That's real fucking manly. That's as manly as scrubbing your face with some girlie ass scrub with four kinds of flowers and fruits. Then you can douche your ass with some kinda perfume, the go stand out on the street corner showing off your teeth, while hoping a cop doesn't pass by.
*Oral B bans Tom*
...
*brushes his teeth* HEY COPPA! SUCK SUCK FOR A BUCK!
-
tom... lost me....
-
I think he's saying he'll give head to cops?
-
Oh. I'm sure they'll appreciate that very much then.
-
You would say that, ya frickin homo.
-
tom: Isn't there some way I can get out of this ticket, Officer toe?
toe: ::drops pants::
