What the bloody fuck was that shit?
Mick Jagger needs to just die already. Either that or fucking eat something so he gets meat on his scrawny heroin ass. Halftime show sucked.
That first touchdown by the Steelers was blatanly outside the end zone. Even I could tell it was outside. Those refs can't call plays worth shit.
I stopped watching during the third quarter when I knew the Steelers were going to win. I went to flipping between Family Guy and TNG.
Peter at 3am: "Hey everyone, Meg had her first period!"
Quag: "Peter, that is extremly hot, and I'll deal with it tomorrow morning, but dammit I'm tired and I want to sleep!"
-
I have to say though, the pregame show was actually pretty cool, even though I missed all but the last 10 minutes of it. Stevie Wonder still has some SOUL!
Now I have to go and get wasted with large quantities of alcohol to forget the Rolling Stones shitty performance.
-
The Refs fucked Seattle over like they fucked New England over. Bad horrid calls that could have changed the direction of the game were either not called or wrongly called in Pittsburg's favor. Even the Colts got screwed over last game, which makes me wonder if the Refs were paid off for the Steelers.
-
You could tell from the commercials with the Steelers guys with those retarded trophies that they were gonna win.Fuckers.
-
hahah everybody is happy here! go Pittsburgh/Penn!
blah i dont even care
-
I ended up watching Digging for the Truth on the History channel and then going down to my office to work and watch the ESB.
-
office??
did i miss something???
-
I watched the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. You can see all the commercials on line anyway. :P
-
Yeah, besides there haven't really been any good ad campaigns in the last 5 years--and if there is one it catches on to the point where you're sick of it...
And for the love of God, I hope that Taco Bell's 'Good-to-Go" guy and his gay as all hell hand-gesture don't catch on...
-
But the Crunch Wrap Supreme is insanely tasty!
-
office??
did i miss something???
I have a home office where I do most of my writing.

Agreed, they really just need new ads.
-

Ooh I thought you were working :-p
-
I think Bernie and I are the only ones who post from work...
-
Hey now, I sometimes post from school. That's like work, just I don't get any money.
Actually, I may have been hasty in saying all the ads sucked. Some weren't that bad, but none of them really stood out as being "good enough" for the Superbowl.
....M-I:III I knew was coming before the ad. Tom Cruise needs to retire.
What do you guys think about V for Vandetta? It looks interesting enough that I want to see it.

I am....I just havn't sold it yet.
-
the game was boring. the commercials sub par. For once D's complaining is on point.
Head Asplode?
-

It looks dull.
-
Yeah, V looks like a Zorro ripoff, and a boring one at that.
-
That and everything the Wachowski's touch these days is bound to be tainted...
-
Yeah, besides there haven't really been any good ad campaigns in the last 5 years--and if there is one it catches on to the point where you're sick of it...
Or some asshat objects to a good one. The ad with the little Clydesdale foal trying to pull the wagon was damn cute. What are the reactions?
"Give your kid their first drink," he said the ad was telling people. "And … let him drive." - ABC
An underaged being (granted, a horse) wants to be part of the Budweiser world—even though he's way too young. His parents lovingly aid him in realizing that dream. My interpretation: "Parents, go ahead and buy your kids some beer."
Obviously this ad will lead to droves of drunken children, just like the Budweiser frogs did.
-
If people in this country read that much into a commercial then it's time for a return to the dark ages with swords and wenching. There will be much ale drinking. Even some kids as young as 13 will be getting hammered regularly. There will be no time to be worrying about similie and metaphor as we wage battle against rivaling city-states.
-
What if the ad made you want to feed a horse beer till he is plastered?
-
it would still be time to return to the dark ages with swords and wenching...
-
w0rd.
-
Okay, so long as I get to be the wench-er, not the wench-ee.
-
As the Penny Saver Ad said...
-
This is heavy Doc!
-
I responded to that. It was a gay porno.
-
Probably why they refused to pay upfront.
-
It paid well, though.
-
Maybe I was a little harsh on the ads, I didn't see all of them and missed some good ones.
There was pony one Bernie mentioned, cute. The Budweiser stadium bit with the posters was cool. The Motorolla one with the paperboy being knocked over by his own paper, The doctor with the paddles and the dead fly "Yep, that killed him", The burning couch with the Benny Hill chase music, the mecha scarecrow, the McGuyver commercial, The Pizza Hut spoof with Miss Piggy, the Coke energy drink one, the stunt city commercial. The Dove commercial was a great idea (To think there are so many beautiful females that think they're ugly... my penis says otherwise!), and the United commercial was cleverly low-tech.
But then you had shitfests like the Hummer commercial, the pepsi commercials, the Furry hampster, The Escalade, and about half the Budweiser commercials...And oh god why did they have to ruin The King by sticking him in that commercial with the dancing food ladies!
-
The Burger King gives me nightmares. ;_;
-
Kary too.
I love the King.
-
If I found that guy outside my window when I woke up, trying to hand me nasty food, I'd stab him in the face. Especially since I live on the fourth floor.
-
I wish I could draw that.
-
What if I just give you a crude sketch?
5 YEAR EDIT: What happened to the Burg King? :( Good thing I had this bad boy saved! ;D
-
I love you, Nuri. Is that math homework I see in the background?
-
Kary loves you.
Get on some hawt Lesbian action!
-
Where is his Jetpack! If he is looking in a forth floor window he has to have a Jetpack. A king wouldn't settle for a ladder.
-
I love you, Nuri. Is that math homework I see in the background?
Ha, yeah. I was gonna make a note to disregard the quadratic function on the back but then I thought, eh, maybe they won't see it.
