Title: To Contradict Any Existance of God...

Garfield 2 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455499/)

And from the looks of it, it'll probably be a theatrical release.  Lets hope it comes out the same week as this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417148/)...

Mind-boggling. With developments like this, a Pluto Nash sequel is just around the corner.

It does however prove the existance of the Devil, cause someone sold their soul to him to get this green lighted.

I cringe every time I see an Aeon Flux preview.  If Trevor with brown hair and Aeon's nasty combed-with-a-pork-chop 'do weren't bad enough, they've decided that her attitude is a result of something done to her (canon non-existent) famblee because hearth, home & sproggies are the only things  women ever think about, dontcha know?  <_<

I hated Aeon Flux anyways....anything that guy does seems to suck right out of the gate because he piles almost inane amount of non-revelant weridness on top of what would otherwise be a good story. Needless to say I'm not going to waste my time on a movie based on that crap.

"You killed my family..."  Are they serious?  Do I dare say that's as bad as making Tomb Raider focus on Lara and her relationship with a man?  (First one w/ her daddy, the second one w/ boyfriend, love interest or whoever the hell that guy was...)

For some reason, I thought "Snakes on a Plane" was a parody of "Strangers on a Train".

the bitch in the movie is too fat to play Aeon Flux. I remember I was maybe like 15 or so but I would see the commercials of those cartoons and the bitch was fucking skinny

I wonder if the movie will be as fucked up as the show?

I wanna see Reign the Movie. 10 Bucks says it wont be as gay as 'Brokeback Mountain'. I fell outta be when I saw the preview. Now if only they eat pudding in the film, Cartman will be named God.

I loved aeon the show but I like it when shit gets weirded up for no reason.  In fact that's part of my life's mission statement.

Unfortunately the movie had none of that.  I saw it Monday.  The plot was decent, the lighting was good, there wasn't any shitty Staid or punk-pop music, but the execution wasn't all there.  I had too much of a happy ending and they hit the nail on the head more than they should of.  I'm well aware that it was made for the "current" MTV generation, but they should have made it for the fans of the show...

Sounds like a request too reasonable to possibly be done.

For the fans? Are you fucking mad man! I think big movie companies know what they are doing...I mean how else do you explain hits like "DOOM"?

It could have been so good.

But they copped out and destroyed any good things that the story could have created.

While I haven't seen the movie yet, I don't think Charlize Theron was the right actress for the role. She's also not aneorexic and Aeon Flux looked like she needed a good meal.   I don't think Charlize is a beeatch.  She maybe one for all I know but she doesn't come across to me that way.  She seems really easy-going and classly.

Cartoon Aeon Flux looked like a starving Ethiopian with huge tits, if that makes any sense.  I don't honestly know where they'd find someone resembling that stylized body type aside from finding said Ethiopian and giving her enlargement surgery.

To be fair, anyone that Peter Chung drew looked anorexic...that and he had trouble drawing pants on anyone.

I KNOW and I heard somewhere that they made Charlize gain weight for the part, and I was like wtf???

No idea.  I found myself logged out the other day, too.  Don't know why it does that sometimes....

And yeah, I don't think Charlize is edgy enough to be Aeon Flux.  Judging from the previews, she's a very cute Aeon Flux, and that's just kinda wrong.

She used to be a pro ballet dancer, so she had some of Aeon's grace, but still.... meh.
