ASAP!!!
-
Did she finally blossom into a young lady?
-
Hmmm…this is a mystery that requires my full attention. I'm sure with the help of logic and my extensive knowledge of the crimnal mind; I'll be able to deduce the origin of this frantic plea.
First off the use of the board as a way of convey such an important message can mean only one of two things. One, that Merla is incapable of using a more reliable for of communication, such as a phone. Or the second, that posting on this board is seen as a faster easier way to get ahold of Nuri and insure that she will see the message. The latter is more logical of the two...so we deduce that Nuri does indeed spend much time on this very board during these hours.
The message also cannot wait for Merla's arrival back at the home which she and her sister share. This tells me that it's something of either a timely nature, which must be dealt with promptly or an emergency of great magnitude. But having the privilege of having at occasionally been around Merla for the last five year, combined with what was confined in me by Nuri herself...I know that Merla is of an excitable sort and is probably making a bigger situation out of the matter then is necessary.
Hmmmmmm very interesting. More evidence is required to reach this case's conclusion. Come my dull witted, but faithful friend, the night is young and Mystery is afoot!
-
Damn Rama you sure put a lot of thought into this.
I was ordering movie tickets and needed to know if the time I was selecting was okay with my sister. She didn't answer either phone and I noticed that she had posted at her board so I posted the message. Consider the mystery solved Sherlock!
-
Yeah, I couldn't get Harry Potter tickets, either. >_>
-
o.o?
Good God. I want Narnia Tickets ^^
-
I get to see Narnia pre-release. One of the good things about having your best friend work at a movie theater.
I could have seen Harry Potter tonight, I was even INVITED too, but I chose not to. Why? Because Harry "Pussy" Potter is lame...
-
but he could fuck a dragon up the ass and that makes him more man than you'll ever be
-
If fucking a dragon in the ass made me more of a man, I'd rather not become more of a man...
-
your loss.
-
Oh well...at any rate, have fun becoming "more of a man".
-

Well I was going to say it you were on your period and wanted Nuri to bring you Tampons, but this is just as good. Mystery solved! I will send you my bill. I will need it promptly as I need more cociane.
Anyways...I'll proably be able to get in to see Harry Potter no problem this weekend, but I'm going to wait till Saturday afternoon cause, one it's cheaper and two, it'll be less crowded.
-
Sunday 10 AM show, IMAX. No screechers are going to be up that early before Thangsging vacation week.
-
My brother's kids call me Hairy Pooter. I guess because I shed and fart a lot.
Hey, it's what uncles are good for.
-
Or because you have asshair and they don't. That's called "envy".
-

B-but you missed him taking a bath.
Eh, N E way, I liked it. We went to a 9:15 showing. Not so many kids around.
And Merla doesn't wear tampons, FYI.
-
Great, now we get into the typical situation of everyone else seeing something way before I do, because I'm not in any hurry to actually see it, and then listening/avoiding all the fricking spoilers.
BTW, a local theater is still showing Serenity on discount and I'll probably see that first before it goes away.
-
Avoiding spoilers? Well, good thing no one's written a book yet several years ago.
-
God forbid. I mean, Lord of the Rings? Total edge of my seat SUSPENSE, even though I WROTE THREE BOOK REPORTS on it.....Jeezus, D.
-
..dork. :D
-

Well, not everyone in the universe has read all the Harry Potter books yet.
-
But you can get them for a buck or less at a used book store.
-
Same with handjobs from the cashier.
-
Harry Potter was great. I wonder what all the little kids were thinking when it got hardcore near the end.
-
Great? They made Moody out to be a drunken retard, and Dumbledore is suddenly psychotic or something. Not once in the books do I remember Dumbledore shouting at and/or shaking Harry, no matter how cool it would be if he did. And the longest scene with Snape in it involved him being comic relief, which is a blasphemy unto itself.
Has anyone else noticed a distinct lack of Peeves in the movies so far? I mean, you'd think that Cuaron would love Peeves and overuse him, what with his trying to make the movies into a teen drama.
-
Who's Peeves again?
-
He's the school poltergeist and the books' convenient comic relief.
-
I haven't read the book which leaves me free to judge it on it's own merit. The verdict of great stands.
Though my pokegirl said pretty much the same thing about moody. I kind of like watching the movies first though and then reading the books as a more in depth behind the scenes type experience. Everyone usually prefers to read the book and then see the movie but in some cases I think the reverse is better I mean like in LOTR when you see rivendell or those giant statues at the argonath that's just breath taking shit right there. My imagination never takes my breath away in that visual awe inspiring sense when I'm reading a book. Maybe my imagination isn't as keen as most?...maybe that's why I need pr0n to masturbate?...these are the questions I hope to have answered in the afterlife.

I was wondering what brought it up to Pg-13. I didn't think bleeding 30% of the color out of the print and using more greys was enough to justify it. I actually forgot that Wormtail cut his own hand off for that spell.

NURI! Call me at work too. I'm bored.

My number is 1-900-LICK.

NURI! Call me at work too. I'm bored.
What would we talk about? You might be less bored if I didn't.

All six Harry Potter books basically play out the same way. Harry’s life is in danger, but we don’t know exactly from whom or why. It is left to Harry and Ron and Hermione to piece together clues. Harry keeps warning and worrying about Voldemort and his agents, who seem to be gaining powet. Other, even nominally beneficent, adults seem skeptical of Harry at best, making them into suspects.
I got this from Livejournal, and it has a point. Why is it that the basic plot of Harry Potter books seem to ALWAYS go along a standard formula?
1) Harry has trouble with uncle and aunt and gets rescued/goes to school
2) school goes normally for a while
3) Harry's life is threatened
4) Bad shit happens, everyone thinks Harry did it
5) Even though the school's filled with powerful wizards, they all seem powerless to stop whatever bad things that are happening, so it's up to our trio to save the day.
6) Harry finds out it's some agent of Voldemort, fights him, wins, saves the day, becomes the hero, wins Quidditch, wins the most points for Griffindor, goes home happy, only to repeat the cycle anew the next damn book.
Yea, how original, I'm sure.
-
Most serials tend to follow a basic formula, I'm sure. And in this instance.... *MILD SPOILER*
Harry doesn't really win. He just escapes with his life.
-
It's to keep an aire of familar around. Plus the plug and play method actually makes writing it easier I'm sure.
-

You could talk about anime that I don't watch and I could talk about video games you don't play and toys you don't care about.
-
You could call me at work... With my Verizon Agent line, long distance and minutes used are a complete non-issue.
-
There you go!
-
Harry doesn't really win. He just escapes with his life.
Thanks for ruining it... next you'll tell me Alan Rickman has been evil all along.

original enough to make her a freaking BILLIONAIRE.

Surely you've seen Die Hard. Surely.
-
o.o
NO SPOILAGE!!! >.<
-
Harry Potter looks like Elijah Wood!
meaning I would do him. IF hes older than 18 of course, I don't want to pull a doug here
-
I wouldn't want you to pull on him, either.
-
I hope Dan Radcliffe doesn't get as creepy looking as Elijah Wood. It was all downhill from "North" for that guy.... In LOTR he creeped me out almost as much as Smegol and that one ugly orc in ROTK.
-

I wouldn't want her pulling on me either. I might catch something.

Howzabout Frodo's role as the smiling murder-death-killer in Sin City?
-
he looked kinda sexy on that
gave him a "mystical "aura HAHAH
-
I haven't seen Sin City.
-
Frodo ate Nekid Carla Gugino's hand. She has nice tits.
-
I figured that's what he would have eaten next.
-
I would have.
-
I'm still waiting for my call.
-
Maybe you should post here more.
-
Maybe you should give me your number?
