If you missed it Nuri, be sure to watch it Thursday...he gets neutered!

Ack!  I meant to see that.  By the time I got back to the tv, I forgot to rewind for it.  Tom Goes To The Mayor was coming out, slowly destroying my soul.  And is that the same episode of American Dad they showed last week?

No, actually they're two weeks behind on their American Dad episodes.

WHY DID THEY NEUTER HIM!?

>.<

I loved Mantok, though.

Birdman is really solid. It could've gone either way for a while there, but it's been great lately. I imagine it costs them a pretty penny, though, considering it's got honest-to-God legitimate animation.

I assume they take as much time with the writing as they do with the animation.  They've always been about quality not about quantity... *cough* ROBOT CHICKEN *cough*

Oh, definitely. The writing is top notch compared to everything else on the block. I'm pretty sure Birdman and Venture Bros. are the only two Swim shows where the writers understand that mature humor doesn't have to be crass and disgusting.

Hopefully Boondocks will be in that portion as well.

It's Boondocks, so, no, there's no possible chance it will.

Man Oct 2 and new Venture brothers can't get her soon enough.

Sucks that we won't get new Venture Bros. until Spring...  Ohwell, the more time they put into them, the better.

Unless they turn out to suck heinously.  So, perhaps a dumb ques., the Venture Bros., are they actually robots as opposed to being Dr. Venture's actual sons?

Probably not robots, but they're almost certainly artificially created. I'm thinking he originally cloned them from his own DNA, and he's somehow able to reconstitute them whenever they expire. But that's just my guess. I'm sure there are plenty of VB boards out there where fans have written essays on the subject.

Yeah, they're most likely clones...but that's probably something that'll never be answered--like the backstory of the Aqua Teens.

I'm going with the Clones as well. You can't steal a Robot's kidneys.

No more Case Closed at 4:30 AM, Nuri - sorry!  :(  It is kind of amusing to see Cartoon Planet again, though.

I *was* wondering why Meatwad looked like a weather service hurricane symbol when he dances in the opening.  :joe:

Ah, Cartoon Planet. Back when Brak was certifiably hilarious.

I'm no longer able to stay up that late anymore so had you not told me, I probably wouldn't have noticed for months.  Eh, it was in reruns anyway.  And things should be pulled when reran too much. *cough*COWBOYBEBOP*cough*

I disagree. I can watch any episode of Bebop and still be entertained.

Then go buy the DVD or download it on your computer.  Other shows deserve that slot.

Man, even I think they need to retire the Bebop. Replace it with Blue Gender or Alexander or something.

Hahaha...

But dude it's been running for years now.  Other shows have come and gone and they are still running it.

Bebop's been running longer than Futurama.  Didn't Futurama join Swim about a year or so after Bebop?  I'm not really that up on my Swim history though....
