Title: Porco Rosso DVD
Post by: The D on Sep 15, 2005, 09:42:44 PM
Well, this is odd. I borrowed a copy of Porco Rosso DVD. It's a 2 disk, and usually that means extra content is on the second dvd. Well, I popped in the second disk, and all it had on it was storyboards.

All the other extra content... interviews, trailers, stuff... was on the first disk.

So what exactly was the point of having the second disk?

also, Michael Keaton plays the voice of Porco and Cary Elwes   the voice of Curtis.

The dub still sucks.

Havne't watched the dub of this one  yet.

But yeah a lot of the Miyazaki movies have this feature on a 2nd disc. It's kind of retared but I may watch it for Nausicaa. There are few moives on this planet I would ever actually contemplate doing that for though.

   You have a crush on Cary Elwes?!?!

Everytime I see him I think of him as Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Men in thights.

I remember him from the Dracula movie with Gary Oldman. I would have picked Bill Campbell had I been Sadie Frost.

Nah - I would have run off with Monica Bellucci, who played one of the brides.

Lord Arthur Holmwood, the one lovely sleazy redheaded Lucy chose to marry.  Obviously, he had the most money.  :P

I always think of the Princess Bride... and the Crush.  "I love you, Nick, and you love me!"
