Considering he was that obsessive, he would have been spoiled when he read the last two chapter titles - anyone with any sort of memory for Potter trivia would figure it out in a second."The Phoenix's Lament" followed by "The White Tomb"? "Albus" as in Dumbledore's name, means "white", and who the hell else in a white tomb is Fawke's gonna be lamenting? After avoiding spoilers for months, I wasn't too pleased to have the big surprise hand-delivered before the first chapter.... <_< But then I remember a 13-year-old kid hanging himself after the original Battlestar Galactica was cancelled, and that didn't draw a fraction of the overboards that HP does.
I think it's a hoot that so many people think Snape's a big villian now. I don't know how much more obvious she could have made it that Snape had told Dumbledore about the vow and he had told Snape to do whatever it took to keep Draco from being the one who killed him.

I spoiled myself by simply skimming through the book and reading the part where Snape kills him. I never bothered with Chapter titles too much or I guess I would've noticed what Bernie was saying. I tried to read the book from the beginning, but I just found it boring. I think all of that mess about the Prime Minister could've been said in far fewer pages and probably shouldn't have been at the beginning of the story. Merla's either done or almost done with it, so I just keep grilling her for the parts of the story I missed every few hours.
Snape is also the half-blood Prince. His mother's last name was Prince.

I thought Lily was the prince until the end. Now I just think the scene where James has Snape up using that spell is pretty funny now, since Snape's the one who invented it.
What I hated about the book was everyone hooking up. The best part of the series for me was that there was little to no romance, and now she's throwing it around like a thirteen-year-old fanfic writer. Dumbledore's funeral was dumb, too.

You know, being the penultimate entry in the series and all, I was a little underwhelmed by the whole story. I can't help feeling Pottermania has somehow compromised Rowling's ability.

It felt rushed and compressed to me - I finished it in just over 4 hours, and that was with bathroom breaks. I think she could have left some of the redundant Umbridge-is-a-bitch-again details out of OotP and maybe expanded on some of the character's relations to one another. The whole Lupin/Tonks thing isn't very believable because it was totally out of left field. Guess they were really busy for the summer because they hardly spoke in book 6.
So book 7 is either going to be another encyclopedia or very little story left and a lot of adjectives. I still think Snape's going to turn out to be with the good guys. Not that I'd care if he wasn't. :evil:

Because Snow killed her Father. It was a accident....maybe Snow had to much to drink that night, maybe they shouldn't have been driving on those icy roads, but the results where deadly. The screech of tires, the sound of tearing metal...and the screams. Oh god the screams! When the dust settled only snow came out of that hell alive, and Faye's father....well they had use his dental records to identify him. Faye has never been able to forgive Snow for what happened that cold March night.
